Audrey's POV
I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. Honestly, why the fuck would anyone put it on for me? My head started spinning as my pupils started dilating. My fingers ran through my hair as it got caught on a tangle.
"Fuck," I mumbled.
My eyes wandered off to the side of my room. Everything seemed too familiar. Like I've been in this situation before, but really haven't. Partially, I sat up. Taking in everything made me even more fustrated. Where have I seen this before?
I decided to screw off with my mind and leave my room. As I walked downstairs in my pyjamas, I saw Harry reading a small notecard, sipping his tea.
"Goodmorning," I bluntly say as I sat on the island.
"Morning," he says as he drops down the card on the counter.
I sat silent until I murmered, "How come it's so silent?"
"Louis is gone," he says; his tone being so nonchalantly.
"What do you mean by gone, Harold?"
"Here," he says as he passed me the note.
"I got out of the house early. My friend asked me if she wanted to hang out. If you remember Emia, then you know I'm good with her. If you don't, well then don't worry. I'll be back by tomorrow afternoon. Keep Audrey safe.
~Louis xx"
I looked at him confused.
"Who's Emia?"
"Louis' ex. She's a good friend of his," Harry says.
I nodded understandingly as I over-examined the card. He's not going to be here today? And right after our previous kiss?
"You ok love?" Harry asks as he stood right in front of me.
I nodded at first, but I felt the tears starting to form in my eyes. My teeth grazed along my underlip, trying to stop myself from crying. I looked up to see Harry staring at me.
"No you aren't," he says; hugging me tightly.
"I know," I whispered.
His breathes mixed in with mine steadly as his grip on my back tightened. I could feel myself trembling under his touch, but I couldn't stop myself.
"Hey, look at me," he says; placing a finger under my chin, making me look straight in his eyes.
"What?" I mumbled.
"Why not we go out with the boys today. I don't want to see you all sad like this."
"And you think it might help?" I asked.
He nodded his head in response as his eyes glistened in hope. I smiled weakly, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"I'll go get ready then," I laugh as I walked towards the stairs.
* * * * *
We walked around the mall like it was nothing. People noticed the boys and asked for pictures and autographs, but it wasn't as annoying as it usual would be. The fans here were quite sweet. Most importantly, they kept reminded me why Louis wasn't here with us.
He was with his ex. Hanging out with her. Having fun with her. Sure, I guess she must be a really good person, but I want him to be with me for a while.
I'm quite snobby, aren't I?
"Audrey!" Liam yells. I looked in front of me and see a group picture.
I smiled weakly as I began walking up to the girls. But they gave me dirty looks. Instead of standing with Liam or Niall, I had to stand next to one of them. She leaned near my ear and whispered:
"You don't deserve hanging out with them. Most importantly, you shouldn't be dating him."
The picture was taken as the single flash of light flickered off of the camera. The girls went away, but looked back to give me dirty looks.
"Dray," Harry says; rubbing my back.
I looked up at him and smiled. "Everything's fine. Let's just go."
Every time I saw something that was quirky, I remembered of Louis; Harry would always hug me like Louis would; whenever someone put their arm around me protectively (Harry) it reminded me of Louis. Today, nothing can stop me from thinking of Louis. How grand...
Sorry that was short. Tomorrow I'll try to get in the last chapter and then epilogue! So thank you if you read this and the first part. Means a lot!<3
