Mistletoe (Greenflame)

"It's a bad idea putting up a Mistletoe, just saying", Kai growled.

Jay and Cole still put it up in the middle of the living room.

In the evening everyone was in Christmas mood, chatting happily.

Everyone except for Kai.

He was nervously playing with a small package in his pocket, looking at Lloyd over and over again.

After dinner the green Ninja came over to where Kai was standing alone in the living room.

"Kai, are you alright?", the green Ninja asked.

"What? Uhm, yeah, I'm fine. Lloyd, I made something for you", Kai laughed awkwardly.

"It's nothing special, really but I hope you'll like it", he continued.

Then he pulled out the package and handed it to Lloyd.

"Wait, I'll step into the light", Lloyd smiled, taking a step back.

Kai followed him into the light.

Lloyd unwrapped a small box and opened it.

Lying inside of it was a necklace with a small green flame made of iron attached to it.

Lloyd gazed up at Kai, then smiled brightly.

"Oh Kai, it's so beautiful! I love it!", Lloyd grinned.

Suddenly they heard a gasp.

"Guys, come in here. Quickly", Jay called.

"Huh? What's going on?", Lloyd asked confused.

"Look at the ceiling", Cole laughed.

Nya raised her phone.

Kai and Lloyd looked up quickly, just to notice that they were standing under the mistletoe.

Lloyd blushed a bright red.

"Well, it's a tradition", Zane said.

Without waiting another second Kai wrapped an arm around Lloyd and pulled him into a kiss.

Everyone in the room held their breath.

When Kai pulled away Lloyd reached for the table, put his present down, then jumped back to where he was standing.

Without further hesitation he wrapped his arms around Kais neck, kissing him passionately.

Nya didn't stop taking pictures as the two boys started to make out.

"Guys, take a room! Since when is this a thing?!", Jay called out.

"I don't know, Lloyd? Is this a thing?", Kai asked.

"Idiot. Now it is.", Lloyd replied.

To end this Oneshot, Cole whispered:
"They're the Christmas colored couple after all"
