"I can't tell him. What if he's transphobic?!", I cried out. Jay munched away on his potato chips.

"Well, you either tell him or", he started, then stuffed some chips into his mouth.

"Or what?", I asked, taking the chips from his hands.

"Or you will make him feel bad. It's really that easy. You already told all of us Ninjas, and we would all have a hard time keeping it secret. Eventually someone would tell him anyways and then", Jay started explaining, but I stopped listening.

I had to tell Kai I was born female. But how?

I had come up with different ways this could go and in most of them Kai started hating me.

"Hey, Lloyd.", Jay suddenly said carefully. He put a hand on my shoulder.

"Even if something went wrong, you wouldn't have to deal with it alone", he assured me.

I took a deep breath.

"You think he could ever love me?", I then asked.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure about that. Have you seen how Kai looks at you?", Jay smiled.

I nodded carefully.

Then I got up. "I will tell him.", I said proudly.

I was watching him train. He looked so handsome...

"You just gonna stand there?", he suddenly asked. He was sweaty and trying to catch his breath, as he grabbed his water bottle.

"Actually, I need to tell you something...", I said quietly.

Kai looked at me and ran a hand through his messy hair.

He was waiting for me to continue talking, but the words got stuck in my throat.

Kai put the bottle down and came over.

"I-I-I", I stuttered. He will hate me. He will never love me. He-

"You know, you don't have to tell me right now if you're not ready", he shrugged.

"No, I want to tell you!", I almost yelled.

Kai smiled softly.

I took a deep breath.

"Kai, I am...I have been...I was born a girl.", I finally brought out. Kai blinked.

Then his eyes darted to where my breasts were if I didn't hide them.

"Well, that's...something. Not something bad, I mean, but for sure it's something", Kai chuckled.

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"So you're not disgusted or anything?", I asked carefully.

"Why would I? You're just stuck in the wrong body, that can be fixed"

I hugged him quickly.

"Whoa, get away greenie, I am sweating like a sinner in church!", he laughed.

I stared up at him as he carefully pushed me away.

Was that a slight blush?

"Excuse me!", Kai started, then told me he was going to take a shower.

An hour later I saw him sitting on the front porch, drinking tea, so I sat down next to him.

"You good?", I asked softly.

"Yeah...", Kai sighed.

His hair was still damp, falling into his face.

"Don't lie to me. What is it?", I asked and nudged him playfully.

With a smile he raised his hand to mess up my hair, but I dodged the attack.

"I just thought...it's nothing", Kai then said quietly. Then he did mess up my hair.

His hand sank down, but I picked it up again. I placed it on my cheek and leaned into it.

There it was.

The thick red blush. Kai was blushing.

He ran his thumb over my lips.

"Do you think you could ever love me?", he than asked, choking a little on the words.

"Kai, I", I started, but stopped. He pulled his hand away.

Just as he stood up and tried to leave I grabbed the hem of his pants.

"I already do.", I finally brought out.

"What?"

"Love you. I love you.", I said a bit louder. Then I jumped up.

Kai leaned his forehead against mine.

"May I have a kiss then?", he whispered.

I pushed my lips on his and he basically melted into the kiss.

"Get a room, boys!", Jay suddenly laughed.

Kai pulled away, then he smirked and kissed me again, with a lot more passion this time.

"Ew! Kai!", Jay made loud noises of protest.

Kai laughed. Then he pulled me to his room where we ended up cuddling for three hours straight.
