I was standing in front of the stage, between all those girls.

Everyone was yelling their names. A monotonous choir.

"Nin-jas, Nin-jas, NIN-JAS!", they yelled and I was one of them, one of the voices.

The Ninjas were the most famous band in Ninjago.

They consisted of Jay, also called lightning, Cole who was a little edgy and only wore black, the man for the technical stuff Zane and Nya, a girl around my age with an amazing voice.

Speaking of voices. There also was their leadsinger, Kai. They called him wildfire or Firestarter.

Kai didn't only look good, he also had a great voice.

Kai was my favorite human on this planet.

Sadly he didn't even know I existed.

At least I guess that.

I wish he would know me.

Suddenly I was brutally ripped from me thoughts by louder screams.

The Ninjas had finally entered the stage.

"Are you ready to rock?!", Kai yelled.

The crowd erupted in screams and yells.

The band hit the first note.

I kept my eyes locked on Kai, noticing all those little things.

How his hair swayed while he sang.

How his hip moved and how he closed his eyes.

He must be really feeling their music.

I admired his features.

His face looked like the face of someone who had worked and worried a lot in their past.

I remembered that Kai and Nya, they were siblings, didn't have parents and that they lived alone in a smithy.

Then Kai started singing at their local pub and that's where everything started.

The other were great, but nobody was as amazing as Kai today.

I was listening to the radio when the news came on.

Nothing interesting, really, until the word Ninjas was spoken.

I immediately turned louder.

"That breaks all of our hearts. Kai, the leadsinger of Ninjagos favorite band, officially left the band. He hasn't done any interviews since then, so we all are left with the question why he would leave", the woman explained.

She was right. That broke my heart.

Two days later Kai disappeared without leaving a clue where are why he did so.

According to an interview Kai left his sister a letter saying he really needed a break from all the trouble.

That was all we knew. He needed a break.

"What's bothering you?", my mum asked.

I sighed: "My idol disappeared and I just have the feeling like something's off"

"How so?", mum smiled softly.

"He wouldn't just leave, not like this! That doesn't suit him!", I growled to myself.

Mum gave me a soft nod. "Maybe go for a walk and clean your thoughts, I'm sure he'll be back soon", she promised.
