Ninjago Oneshots

"I'm sorry they hurt ya when we were younger", Lloyd sighed.

He was standing face to face with his old friend.

Kai smirked evilly.

"But why'd you take it out on Ninjago? Now it's over, soon you'll" , the green Ninja continued.

"They'll forgive you if you come back to the good side Kai, we know it's not your fault you're so fricking evil"

Kai hadn't thought Lloyd' lay down and die but it was the green Ninjas turn to start the fires.

"Go to your Mommy little boy. You can't defeat me anyway! Have you seen my army of lost and lonely souls? We'll make you all pay for what people did to us!", Kai laughed, his giant army behind him.

"You still have a choice Kai! Please!", Lloyd almost begged.

Kai raised an arm.

Lloyd's eyes widened.

"You're evil"

And with that the war began.

"Damn, he'll burn this place to hell!"

Cole yelled.

Jay nodded.

"We can't arrest him, he's to powerful! Does it matter when he's dead?"

"Won't save him now cause we no friends.", Cole gave back.

"No! Anything but that! He's still my brother. Let me talk to him", Nya begged.

"Okay. We'll bring you to him, but if it doesn't work we have to kill him, I'm sorry", Zane sighed.

The Ninjas were fighting together but their team was incomplete without Kai.

Flashback

"Sky, we need to talk.", Kai said clearly.

He and Skylar were in the living room of the ninja's home.

Skylar looked at him worriedly.

"Do we? What happened?", she asked innocently.

Kai looked her in the eyes.

"I know what you did with Karlov. Now don't lie to me, please"

For a few seconds Sky just stared.

Then she sighed sadly.

"So you finally found out, huh?"

"What do you mean, finally?! How long has this been going on?!", Kai yelled, the anger rising.

"To be honest, a few weeks. I'm sorry Kai", the girl shook her head.

Kay felt so betrayed.

"Calm down Kai, everyone knew. It's a miracle that you didn't find out earlier", Cole suddenly said, entering the room.

Kai froze.

"He's right Kai, it was obvious", Jay chirped in.

"So you knew she was cheating on me but you didn't tell me?!", Kais Hand light up like a torch, the anger burning inside of him.

The other two Ninjas suddenly realized they might have made a mistake...

Back to our time~

Kai grinned down at his soldiers.

They were all under his spell.

Well, not literally.

But he had grabbed them by their loneliness and betrayal and pulled them onto his side.

To him it didn't matter who died. He wouldn't save anyone because he didn't have friends anymore.

Suddenly someone hugged him from behind.

When Kai recognized his sister's smell he enjoyed it for a few seconds.

"What do you want little sister?", he then asked.

Nya let go and faced him.

Kai looked different.

His hair was longer and less styled.

Small scars covered his face and made him look scary.

"Please Kai, you can still stop this! The team would do anything to get you back, they are truly sorry. Please, this isn't you!", tears were rolling down her cheeks.

"Nya, this is who I am inside, who I always have been! Now I'll let it out, let my dark run wild", the man dressed in red laughed evilly.

Then he pulled out a knife.

"Now, I'm really sorry little angel, but the price for touching me can only be paid with blood"

Before she could realize what was happening Nya felt the knife dig deep into her chest.

Kai held her in his arms, tears in his eyes.

"I loved you, my little blossom. But everyone is against me and I'd rather have you die then live in the world that I'm creating. Not if you aren't on my side."

With this words he layed her down to die.

Jay, who had watched everything, stormed forward in his rage.

It was his turn now to start the fires.

Kai didn't see that coming and before he could react he felt the tip of a sword on his back.

"You're evil, Kai, you'll burn this place to hell. But it don't matter when you're dead. Won't save you now cause we're no friends", Jay growled deeply.

Kai smiled softly when he took his last breath, intertwining his and his sisters fingers.

And there they lay.

Brother and sister.

Evil and good.

Fire and water.

They rain washed away the tears at their funeral.

"He wasn't evil. He didn't mean to burn this place to hell. It does matter that he's dead. We should have saved him because we were friends", Lloyd said.

And that made everything right.
