I grabbed his arm and pulled him out the cell. Jay pulled on my arm making me stop.

"What's that on your neck" i placed my hand on where he was pointing and realised it was the same spot Sunghoon as kissed me.

"I," I paused. What do I tell him. "I'll tell you later" I tried pulling him again but he wouldn't budge.

"Jay please, we don't have time." He listened and we made our way out the chamber. The door was still opened so we both ran out towards the front door. I puked down the handle but it was lock.

"Shit" I said quietly.

I dragged the both of us to the back door. Again it was lock.

"What do I do, what do I do, what do I do?" I'm stressing, there's no doubt Sunghoon's gonna wake up soon.

Jay saw my frustrated state and without thinking he backed away from the door and ran straight to the door hitting it with his shoulder. It made a loud bang which scared me but it managed to get the door open.

"Run" Hay grabbed my hand and we both ran outside.

Yep he definitely would've woken up to that.

We just kept running and running and running. I guided both of us over the fence and away from the mansion.

"April wait" Jay was exhausted and out of breath. That's understandable since his body was filled with bruises and scars.

"Jay we have to keep going." I said putting his arms around mmh shoulder. "Do you know where we are" I'm getting tired too.

Jay continued walking with me taking deep breaths before answering me.

"We're in the forest that's outside the city. If we keep going straight following this road then we'll be in the city"

We both continued walking in silence, it still very dark and very cloudy, we had to hurry or we'll get caught in the rain.

"Can you tell me what happened to your neck" I let out a sigh knowing he won't stop asking.

"Sunghoon tried to" I paused and stopped walking. How do I phrase this.

"He tried to take innocence?" I let out a sigh and nodded your head. It was so scary and so traumatic I don't want it to ever happen to me again. I felt tears swelling in my eyes.

Jay noticed the tears in my eyes and pulled in for a hug. He carefully wrapped his hands around me sides resting his head on top of mine.

"You're away from him now. We just need go a little further and we'll be safe. Cmon" I nodded my head as we pulled away, wiping the tears that fell on my face.

After an hour we on the outskirts of the city. Relieved we both slowed down our pace.

"Where do we go now, we can't go to your house. He'll definitely check there first" Jay say sitting down on the nearest bench.

I joined him on the bench and thought of any other places I could to that wouldn't cost money and is somewhat safe from Sunghoon.

"Do you have any work friends or anything?" Jay said, I could tell he was getting worried.

Ah bingo.

"Let's go" I stood up again grabbing Jay's hands pulling him up.

"Where are we going?" Jay was so exhausted he had to keep going. We are so closed to being safe we just need to go a little further.

"We are you to Lia's house" I mostly said that to myself but pretty sure Jay heard since he replied with,

"Who's house"

My legs gave on Lia's front porch but I pulled myself up and knocked on the door before falling to the floor again.

"She's not gonna answer." Jay said pulling me up.

"Yes she will" I knocked on the door again.

"April it's too early"

"She's awake, I know she is"

I knocked on the door even louder and harder. Finally the door opens revealing an tried and grumpy Lia. When she saw Jay's bruised, scared face and my exhausted face her expression changed to one of concern.

"April what happened to you. And you" she pointed to Jay. "You look horrible. Come inside. I'll get the first aid box for you guys."

Even with my exhausted body I still helped Jay inside.

"April you don't need to help me anymore. I'm better now" Jay tried pulling away from me but I didn't let go until both of us were sitting on the couch.

"You've been beaten for over a week now and we both just walked miles for hours on end. You are incredibly exhausted this is the least I can do."

"April you've been through a lot too. Please at least take a break. I promise I'm ok now."

After some time Lia came back with the med kit and some food and water.

"You can get ready for work. I'll continue the rest from here" Lia nodded her headed and left Jay and i alone.

I opened the box pulling out bandages and ointments. I dabbed them on a cloth and gently dabbed them on Jay's wounds. I wiped them clean and placed bandages on them. I repeated this with the rest of his wounds. For Jay's bruises I got up to grab find some ice and gave them to him.

When I was finished I sat back. I was exhausted too but I knew Jay had been through the absolute worse so I kept it all to myself.

"Thank you April." Jay came over to where I was and sat next to me. I gave him an exhausted before shutting my eyes.

My eyes opened again when I heard footsteps which belonged to Lia.

"Can I ask what happened"

Jay and I made contact before looking back at Lia. I thought about what I should say because Lia wouldn't understand about the whole world and magic situation and stuff.

"Long story short, Sunghoon is after Jay and I. I can't tell you why but I can tell you that if he finds us it's the end of both of us, literally. So please don't let him know we're with you."

Lia looked confused but none the less agreed to keep Sunghoon away from the house. Lia was kind enough to let us stay and give us a room to share before leaving by for work. I felt bad that she's doing so much for me and plus she's doing all the work at work since I'm not there.

I let out a sigh before laying on the bed. I felt another person on the bed and knew it was Jay. I turned around so that I was facing him. He was looking at me with his exhausted eyes.

"We're safe for now"
