Willow’s POV

Steven was on top of me again when I woke up. My hands were cuffed on the bed, I wanted to fight him but I couldn’t. One, my hands were tied, and two, he would hurt Mariah if I tried to fight him.

A loud male voice boomed out of the room and Steven ignored it. He closed his eyes to enjoy himself, a gun went off and he fell above me. I looked to where it went off and found Floyd. He rushed to me and pushed Steven off me, he took off the cuffs and pulled me for a hug.

“You came,” I whispered and he smiled before kissing my forehead.

“I will always come to get you.”

“Really?” Steven asked pointing a gun at us, he was shot on the shoulder, I stared at him then at Floyd. The door opened and Hallow walked in, Steven didn’t look away from me and Floyd. Hallow saw that something was wrong and she took a gun from Bradley and got on her knees slowly, she pointed it under the bed and pulled the trigger. She missed but that made Steven lose his focus, giving Floyd time to shoot the gun out of his hand.

“Yes, really,” he said before blasting his head off.
“Are you okay?” he asked me and I nodded getting off the bed but I couldn’t stand on my own.

“Willow,” I was pulled into a tight hug and a sob left her lips, I never saw her cry since the day I met her.

s okay.”

“We kept looking but you kept not being there,” she said and I held on to her shoulders for support.

“You found me,” I said and she nodded before hugging me once more. I smiled as the door opened and Sean walked in. His eyes met mine and guilt passed through his eyes.

“Mama,” he said and came to give me a hug. He took off his backpack and pulled out a dress. I smiled taking it from him and putting it on. He smiled and kissed my forehead.

“You came,” I whispered and his hands tightened around my waist.

“Of course, let’s get out of here.”

“I don’t think so,” Mandy said and I held on to Sean as we stared at Mandy who had a gun pointing at us.

“What nonsense is this, Mandy?”

“She’s pregnant, for her stepfather” Mandy said and I touched my stomach. Was I really?

Floyd chuckled coming to stand behind me, “Her fallopian tubes are tied. She can’t have more kids.”

“What?” Mandy asked in shock, she stared at me then at Sean. I was glad that I couldn’t have more kids.

“Yes, Mandy.”

“You mean, we kept her here for nothing?” she asked and I smirked looking at her. Marian walked in and shot at the bulbs above us, I was covered by both Floyd and Sean. Hallow ran after them while Sean and Floyd looked for a spot for me to hide.

“We need to get the kids.”

“I will get them, just stay in here until I come get you,” Sean said and I nodded my head. I sat on the floor and started sobbing, as everything came back. I was raped, I could have been pregnant. I could have died, or worse, I could have lost Mariah and Dean.

“Willow,” I looked at the walkie talkie covered in blood next to Steven’s body. I crawled toward it and took it.
“Willow, can you hear me?” it was Jace. All along he was working for my stepfather?

“What do you want?” I asked and he sighed on the other line.

“I came to help.”

“Leave us alone, Jace. You’ve done enough.”

“The kids, both of them will be drowned in thirty minutes,” my eyes went wide as I clutched the walkie talkie in my hand.

“What?”

“You can get them, you can save them” he said and I nodded my head, taking the stopwatch from the desk, I set it to thirty minutes and sighed.

“How?” I asked and he coughed painfully on the other end.

“They are locked on the third floor. From the room you are in, you must turn left. There is a secret door in one of the rooms. It will take you down the stairs, the elevators are not working. Mariah is in room 113 and Dean is in room 107. You will need a-” before he could finish talking, the line went off. I quickly got up and took the gun from Steven’s bloodied hand and walked out of the room. Time to get my kids.
