Willow’sPOV

I had less than twenty minutes remaining to get the kids. I still had not found the room with the secret door.

“Willow!” I hard Mandy shouted and I hid behind the door and waited until her footsteps echoed away. I got out from the room I was in and into the next room, the door was left open. I sighed in relief and ran to the stairs, it was a never ending trip and my feet were getting tired.

“Ahhh!” I heard Dean scream, that alone motivated me to run down the remaining stairs. I was finally down as I looked at the crossroads then at the watch. I had ten minutes, I started in room 107, Dean was slowly going down.

“Dean!” he looked at me and smiled before his smile fell a he stared in the water. It looked like it was boiling, I shot at the glass but it was bulletproof. I groaned and stared at the buttons, there was no button to stop it. That was until a dagger flew to the cables and everything stopped. I turned around and stared at Hallow before pulling her for a hug.

“Thank you,” I said and pulled the ladder and set it up under Dean, I started working on the ropes that were tied around his body. I smiled when he landed in my arms and we both fell with him on top of me.

“Thank you mommy,” he said and I smiled before hugging him tightly, ignoring the pain on my back.

“Ahh! Help!” Mariah yelled and my eyes went wide, I looked at Hallow whose eyes went wide before she ran out of the room.

“Stay in here until I come to get you, okay?” he nodded and went to sit under the table. I looked at my watch and my eyes went wide, only two minutes was remaining. I ran out o the room and looked for room 113, once I found it, Hallow was in the water pulling Mariah out.

“Not on my watch,” a girl said and pointed her gun at the glass. I pointed mine at her and she shot at the glass, it didn’t break but it made a hole, I shot at her and it hit her gut. She smiled looking at the glass that was starting to fill up with blood. I pointed my gun at her head but she slowly fell down. I turned back at the glass as Hallow got out with Mariah in her arms.

“Hallow,” I called out and rushed to her side, I pulled Mariah from her and looked at her.

“Thank you for saving us, Auntie,” she whispered and her eyes slowly closed.

“Don’t sleep,” I said gently slapping her cheek.

“I think she got shot,” Hallow said taking off her shirt and pressing it on Mariah’s lower back. I stared at Mariah whose eyes were looking at me.

“You-” she whispered and blood left her lips before he coughed. I held her closer to me.

“Don’t say anything baby, Hallow, find her Stephen,” Hallow stepped back and stared at us in shock.

“It’s useless. She would be dead once he-”

“Auntie,” Mariah whispered and Hallow looked away from us. “Bedankt,” she coughed. “Bedankt dat- dat je mijn moeder bent…” I stared at her in astonishment, what the hell was she saying?
“Ik hou van je.”

“Shh, you are not making sense baby. Hallow, get Stephen, please.”

“Geef jezelf niet… de schuld,” she held my cheek, forcing me to look at her. I didn’t know what she was sying. Is it a death thing? Is that a language one speaks when they die?

“Baby I-”

“I love you,” Mariah whispered with a smile before she closed her eyes. I sighed and pulled her closer to my chest.

“Mommy?” I looked at the door and found Dean staring at us. He walked toward us and poked Mariah’s cheek.

“It’s okay, come here,” I pulled him closer to me and hugged him too.

“Stay with the kids, I will come get you-”

“I want to fight,” I said and she looked at me then at Dean and back at me again.

“Willow-”

“I lost my baby, I want to fight for her.”

“Fine, Dean, go hide in that cupboard, I will come get you,” Dean stared at Hallow then at me, I nodded and he kissed my cheek before running to the cupboard. I gently laid Mariah on the floor and took off the shirt I had to cover her face. I looked at Hallow who was smiling at Mariah.

“Shall we?” I asked, feeling pissed that she dared to smile after she refused to get help for her. She would have been alive right now.

We got upstairs and found everyone fighting, guns were on the floor, Floyd and Sean had the upper hand. I sighed and joined in.  Hallow started fighting Marian and I fought Mandy, I was pissed. I fought like I was fighting a man, but eventually, Mandy kicked me to the side and raised her gun and Hallow. I am not losing my sister too, anyone but her. I lunged myself at Mandy and fell with her, her dagger grazed my lower abdomen before she smiled and pushed me off her. I managed to kick the gun away from her and kicked her knee.

“Willow, watch out!” I turned around in time to dodge a blow from Marian.

“You are the most disappointing mother to ever live,” Marian said and I chuckled staring at her, she was right and she saw the guilt in my eyes, even though my face told a different story.

“Don’t listen to her, you are the most amazing mom to ever live,” Hallow said and I chuckled bitterly.

“Yeah right, I lost Marian. Didn’t I?”

“She said you were the mom she needed,” I looked at her but her yes were on the women in front of us.

“What? She was talking gibberish.”

“She was talking Dutch.”

“And where the hell is Dutch in gibberish?” I asked and she rolled her eyes, still glaring at Mandy and her partner.

“Bedankt dat je mijn moeder bent, that’s thank you for being my mother,” she said and a smile stretched my lips. She considered me as her mother?

“Then let’s take them down for killing my older baby,” I said and turned to Mandy and Marian. Before we could start fighting, row of gunshots rang in the room.
