"So, what's your name?" The man in the driver's seat said.

"Darryl, that's (y/n)!" Zak said, getting into the passenger seat.

"Oh! It's nice to meet you, (y/n)!" Darryl said, smiling at you from the rear-view mirror.

"Same for you." You dropped your bag beside you on the seat and put on the seat-belt.

"Where to, Zak?" Darryl asked, putting the car into neutral, then drive.

"Mark's house."

"He's on the outskirts of town right?"

"Yep!"

"Okay." Darryl went forward and turned right, passing a few houses before turning left and going down a long stretch of road.

The car was silent for a few minutes, until Darryl spoke up.

"So, how did you and Zak meet, (y/n)?" He asked.

You groaned and sighed.

"Oh, should I have not asked that?"

"It's fine." You said. "Me and Zak met at a coffee shop."

Zak chuckled. "I remember that."

"He deliberately put salt in my coffee."

"Hey!" Zak said, turning his head to look at you. "It was an accident!"

You snorted. "As if. Asshole."

"Little bitch."

"Language!" Darryl shouted.

"Sorry." Zak said.

Darryl turned left again and slowed down, slowly going down the gravel road. The car stopped in front of a house, Darryl putting the car into park.

You opened the door and stepped out of the car, grabbing your bag and closing the door when you got it out.

You looked up at the house, slightly impressed by the size.

The house was soft yellow in color, the front porch housing a few potted plants. The front yard has a single tree, one in bloom. You guessed that the tree was probably a cherry tree. The house had a few bushes in front of the first story windows, adding a little splash of green at the bland house.

"(y/n!)!"

You got snapped out of your trance and looked at Darryl. "Coming."

Darryl picked up your stuff when you walked up beside him and Zak snorted.

"Such a gentleman."

"Zak." Darryl looked at his friend.

"Meh, meh." Zak mumbled, walking past you and knocking on the door.

The door opened a few seconds later, just a crack.

"Zak?" The voice said.

"Hey Mark." Zak said.

"Hello."

"I brought (y/n) here so, we'll be going." Zak said. "Bye."

Zak turned and left, patting Darryl's shoulder and bringing him to the car.

Darryl waved you a goodbye, and you just stared at him in response.

You picked up your stuff and looked at the door. "Can I come in?" You asked.

"Uh, crap-" The voice said. "Yeah, come in, come in."

Next chapter will be out on Saturday.
