The four Grey children had barely made it into the carriage before the teasing began.

"Well it sure was lovely to meet our future in laws. Awful lot of them but we seemed to get on well" joked Julius with a broad smile.

"Do not joke about such things, Julius" William chastised. "And you meet not worry sister, I have spoken to Bridgerton and he will not pester you anymore."

"Thank you brother" Aurora felt bad for the difficulty that must have been put upon her brother. She knew it would only increase as the season continued.

"You did seem to get along quite well, all things considered." Alexander observed.

"Aurora and Anthony?!" William Grey exclaimed. "No, I do not think him a good suitor."

"You do not think anyone a good suitor for our darling sister" bickered Julius, "Anthony Bridgerton is a-"

"Enough about Anthony Bridgerton! I do not want hear another mention of his name, it means nothing to me!" Aurora yelled, silencing her brothers at once.

They looked at each other sheepishly.

"Now" she began more peacefully, "tell me of your travels South."

The Grey siblings had thankfully made it home to their uncle's London house without another mention of the Viscount. But Julius was relentless and could not sleep until he knew the gravity of the situation.

He was all but ready to go to sleep when he kicked on his sisters bedroom door.

"Come in" she called, and he entered, flipping onto her bed.

He thought long and hard before turning to her grinning.

"So Anthony Bridgerton means nothing to you then?"

"Should he?"

Julius looked at her knowingly.

"He makes me smile, that is all." A gentle blush graced Aurora's cheeks.

"Does he now?" Julius prodded determined to discover the extent of Aurora's affection for the Viscount.

"I suppose he is quite good-looking, and his family is lovely. And they all get along ever so well, he has quite a way with the younger ones it's almost fatherly. He is not the worst conversationalist, indeed I have had the occasional pleasant discussion with him. And he has a nice smile."

"Sorry what was that about not being in love?" Julius remarked feigning innocence.

"Stop it. Stop it! Do not look at me like that!" Aurora's cheeks were now a bright salmon.

Julius smirked, knowing he was getting to his half-sister.

"Like what?! I merely asked for your opinion on the viscount. How was I to know you found him 'quite good-looking' and his smile 'nice'?"

Aurora sighed, beginning to unplait her hair.

"I am very attracted to him, Julius" she whispered. "I have never been so attracted to a man in my life."

Julius could not help but smile.

"I am glad of it. He is a perfect match for you and I think perhaps he is quite fond of you as well."

Aurora shook her head in response and began to brush her long hair.

"I doubt it, but I do not mind so very much. I will be quite content if we can grow to become friends."
