It would seem, dear reader, the the ton’s most recent love match are quite besotted with each other! Last nigh (or so I’m told) the Viscount Bridgerton was seen with his future wife looking quite in love.

The former rake has certainly changed for the better and this author wonders if such a change is indeed permanent? It certainly appeared that was last night as the eldest Bridgerton gazed longingly upon his intended.

And with the wedding having been declared to be held in just over a month, it would seem that the young Viscount has managed to escape scandal and fall into the arms of a most suitable young Lady.

Aurora Grey’s wild nature it would seem has calmed down significantly since meeting her match and she is now, by all reports, a most fine debutante. Although it would seem that she is not quite so besotted as her soon to be husband - or perhaps she is simply better at concealing the fact.

This author wishes the two every happiness and wonders how long it will be until there is a new baby in Bridgerton House.

In other news, the mysterious F. Waterstone has unveiled yet another painting. This one is to hang in the National Gallery before being auctioned off. Whoever this secret artist is, he is certainly causing something of a whirlwind within the ton - all of whom are simply desperate to get their hands on an original.

It would seem he has even caught the eye of the Queen who has demanded that he be brought to her at once! Poor Waterstone will have his work cut out trying to hide from her piecing gaze - I can assure you Mr. Waterstone that the Queen can be most difficult to hide from indeed.

Yours truly,

Lady Whistledown
