The girl smoothed down her skirt and looked at herself in the mirror.

She was dressed proper, her hair plaited as required.

She eyed the suitcases beside her and chuckled at how absurd it was that they had managed to shop for clothes in such a short time.
Thanks to Mrs Macready.

She looked to her door at the sound of a knock, smiling at the intruder.

"You are lucky St.Finbars was ready to accept you", Professor Diggory spoke.

He walked into the room and eyed the girl's uniform and her bags.

Aria flashed a sheepish grin and shut her drawers.

"It's all thanks to you professor".

She smiled gratefully and the man nodded in acknowledgement.

"I know you missed a year of England but I know you will find your place here", he reassured the girl.

Aria, upon returning, had felt out of place despite having originally being from England.

And while centuries in Narnia had changed her perspective, she would try her best to adjust back to the lifestyle in England.

She glanced at the man who had adopted her and nodded.

"It feels slightly off but I'll get used to it".
"You don't exactly have talking animals or magic here in England", she chuckled.

"You belong here, the same way you belong in Narnia. It's not impossible to belong to two places", he said.

Aria picked up one bag and placed it on her bed.

She nodded, stashing a blouse in.

"I feel human as well. Whatever power I had, I left it back in Narnia. No magic or unsuspecting burst of smoke", she joked.

The professor smiled and nodded.
"It is the gift they had provided you with for looking after Narnia".

Aria raised her brow at his statement and rolled her eyes.

"Aslan, that sneaky lion", she laughed, grabbing her jacket.

"He probably knew all along and watched us say goodbye dramatically".

She paused and shook her head in disbelief.
"How evil of him".

Professor Diggor smiled
"Perhaps he didn't quite know either".

Aria shrugged and zipped up her suitcase.

The professor handed Aria her smaller bag.

"Are you sure you need to go to their station? You could easily go to school from one of the closer ones".

Aria twisted the ring on her finger, the silver shining brighter than it ever did in Narnia.

The girl shook her head and smiled.

"Aslan sent me here a few days before the Pevensies would arrive from Narnia. I might as well as use that time to meet them at the station".

"But we didn't get to spend much time with each other".

Aria smiled at the professor and grabbed his hand.

"When I arrived here, I already felt like I knew you. I dreamt of you showing me books in your library and teaching me new things".

The professor smiled knowingly and nodded.
"I believe with some kind of magic we dreamt of a year spent together".

Aria shook her head vigorously and groaned.

"Why is Narnian magic so complex for no reason?", she complained.
"I'm having a hard time understanding things".

The professor chuckled and Aria hugged the man.

"I will see you soon professor".

She kissed the man's cheek and he smiled softly.

He placed his hand on her shoulder comfortingly before shooing the girl out of her room.

"Now go. The carriage is waiting outside and you know how impatient Mrs Macready could get".

"Her face would be red by now", Aria laughed and the professor chuckled.

"Goodbye Professor", Aria waved, hauling her bags out of the room.

The man waved back, smiling brightly at the girl.

"Send the children my regards", he said.

Aria nodded and made her way to the carriage outside.

Her lips were curved upwards in a permanent smile.

She was going to see them.

Her friends, her family.

She was going to see Peter.

Oh how much she had missed him.

And now she could be with him.

Narnia had given them both a chance, one that she would treasure.

And she would not let anything come between them.

As long as they had each other and she had her family, she would have a place she belonged to.

Cause it wasn't Narnia nor was it England that she belonged to.

Wherever her family would be, that's where she would always belong.

She had found home.

And she was happy.
