Peter lay on the grass as the sun had long set and the stars littered the sky.
Stars that reminded him so much of the girl that he loved.

It had been overwhelming for the boy.

For the whole year he had been in England, all he dreamed of was coming to Narnia and finding Aria.

But now that he was here and she was presumably dead, suddenly he didn't know what to do.

But he hadn't lost hope.

Having said by Trumpkin that she was alive as a spirit was enough to fuel his hope.

He wouldn't stop looking for her even if anyone told him it's impossible.

She was alive.

And he was sure of it.

Lucy glanced at her brother, who she had caught shedding tears just a while ago and sighed.

She didn't want to accept it yet.

She knew Aslan wouldn't let anything happen to Aria and she would continue to trust the lion.

Even if her siblings hadn't trusted her when she had seen the lion in the forest, she wouldn't lose her faith in him.

She glanced at Peter again, as the boy sniffled and wiped his face, not knowing that the girl was looking.
