After hours of trudging through the shuddering woods and recurrent short glares shared with the blond haired Pevensie, Caspian broke through the tree line of the woods.

The boy sighed with relief at the sight of Aslan's how, his feet regaining their strength knowing their journey was almost over.

The Narnians walked upto the entrance and Caspian stood beside the siblings eyeing the centaurs that stood on either side of it.

The centaurs raised their swords in respect and the Pevensies continued to walk through.

Caspian stood rooted to his spot, only walking through after the Pevensies had passed.

"It may not be what you are used to, but it is defensible", Caspian told the siblings as they looked around the ruins of Aslan's how.

Certainly it was different from Cair Paravel and all it's glory but to have something that could house the Narnians and protect them was more than just a luxury considering their situation.

"Peter! You may want to see this", Susan called out and pointed to certain carvings on the walls.

The Pevensies crowded around the carvings.
They depicted their stories from when they were in Narnia, long before the Telmarines had attacked.
