"So the coronation is tomorrow?", Peter asked.

Aria nodded, brushing away the hair from her face.

"There's a ball too. Many people are expected to attend, including the Telmarine lords", she replied.

Peter pursed his lips and stopped, his gaze scanning the river beside them.

He kicked at a pebble, sending it splashing into the water.

"That's going to be awkward", he mumbled.

Aria nodded.
"Caspian told me that most of them are trustworthy and they were just serving the king", she said.

She played with the ring on her finger and chuckled.

"We've done this before. Everything will run smoothly", she assured.

Peter smiled and nodded.

The two walked hand in hand, their steps falling short when their eyes landed on a cloth laid on the grass, a basket standing alone at the center of it.

Aria walked away from the boy, inspecting it.

"Oh my! I wonder who placed it here!", she spoke, a wide smile on her face.

She opened her arms wide in show and Peter laughed at her antics.

"I don't think you've had your lunch yet", she said, gesturing to the basket.

Peter walked up to the girl and wrapped his arm around her.
He kissed her temple and smiled softly.

"Thank you Aria. I appreciate it".

Aria put away the plates and leftovers back into the basket.

She took the folded blanket from Peter and stashed it inside as well choosing to lay on the soft grass.

Peter leaned back on his arms, raising one hand above his head.
