I slept really good. Until Moon started crying. I pick her up and change her and I put some clothes on I wonder if my dad's here. I walk out. He was sitting with this woman. "Good morning sweetheart."

"Um. Good morning."

"Oh uh. This is my girlfriend Tanya."

"Hi."

"Hello."

"Tanya that's my daughter and my granddaughter."

"Nice to meet you. You didn't tell me you had a daughter."

"Well she spent five years of her life thinking I was dead so."

"Oh. What's your name sweetheart?"

"Unique."

"That's beautiful."

"Thank you."

"Oh baby I'm enrolling you to your new school later so you can start tomorrow."

"Oh okay."

"What grade are you in?"

"I'm in eleventh I'm supposed to be in twelve."

"Did you fail?"

*No. My mom put me in special classes when I was mute and they weren't teaching me the right thing so we decided I should redo the whole year."

"Oh. Wow."

"Did you eat something last night?"

"Oh no I just went to bed. I was tired."

"Oh well there's some beans in there on the stove."

"Beans?"

"Yeah."

"Do you have breakfast?"

"Sweetheart I couldn't afford any more food."

"Oh. I'll go get me something. Can I drive your car?"

"Oh yeah."

"I can bring you guys something if you want."

"No we're fine sweetheart."

"Oh okay. I'll be back. Can you guys want moon for me? There's milk in the fridge. Thank you." I put my sandals on.

I go inside. I'm in Mcdonald's right now. I don't know what I want. Hmm. I order. "Hey are you Unique?"

"Um yeah." I look up. "Jonah..."

"Hey girl."

"Why are you here?"

"My mom lives down here."

"Wow really?"

"Yeah."

"How far do you live from here maybe I can come over?"

"I don't live too far. Many half a mile. You're missing school aren't you?"

"Well now I kinda wanna move down here. To be with my beautiful girlfriend." I smile. "You should."
"Where's Moon?"

"She's with my dad."

"Oh okay. I've never seen her but I really want to."

"You will I promise. Maybe today."

"You going home after this?"

"No. I'm gonna go get some groceries. My dad doesn't really have much so."

"Oh okay. Well I'll follow you and stop at your house."

"Okay."

"I decided to get some food."
