Author's Note: Hey, guys! So, sorry about the hiatus; I had a bit of schoolwork to do over the weekend, so I couldn't update. But, don't worry, I will be publishing the whole of Howling Demise throughout the week and it'll be fully finished by Friday, if not early next week. So, anyway, that's all I have to say about the upload schedule and I hope you enjoy Howling Demise!

Valentina's POV:

After the whole scene with Zach getting pissed at us, we had all found a bit of peace.

And by peace, I mean we weren't at each other's throats.

I began looking around with Oli and Lizzie for newer information.

Then, Oli found a note on top of the bookshelf.

It read:

'Not everybody in Delamont is as sincere as they seem.'

We all went quiet, peering at each other in awe.

"Well, one of us could be a traitor." Zach said, still shattered by Megan's death.

Oli: *Fake gasp* ' Should I tell the whole group what happened with Joey four years ago at his estate in the 1920s?'

"OK, let's not jump to outcomes," Joey reassured, hoping not to cause another situation where we all blame each other.

"I think we should try to find this next artifact."

We all agreed and began looking around for things we hadn't seen before.

Though it was hard, since the room looked almost the same.

Well, almost.

"Guys, I found.... dice?" Lia said, looking confused.

I looked at the dice and noticed they had symbols on them.

It was like a code where each letter is a symbol; I've seen them before in puzzle books.

"Guys, try and find something with letters and symbols Like, a key!" I called out, looking around the bookshelf, thinking the key would hide in a book.

"OK. This is just getting confusing. Since when did we need perfume to do this? It's got a smoothie on it." Gear questioned, looking at it and trying to figure out how to use it.

"Wait, there's a smoothie on the dice. That must be part of this code," Lizzie said, looking determined.

"Try to find something with a smoothie on it."

That's when our focus redirected.

We were now looking for something with a smoothie on it.

I look over in Zach's direction, thinking something could be there.

He looked like he didn't want try to find something.

Although we were all moving around, hunting for a smoothie, he just stayed in this smaller area.
