I stare straight ahead. How am I supposed to tell this to Elijah? Or rather, everyone. How am I going to tell this to everyone? I lie down on the grass and close my eyes as I think about it. And how are they going to respond? I have no answer for that either. It's hopeless. To relax a bit, I grab my phone to check instagram. When I open my phone I see a phone call at the top of my screen. I swipe the bar down with my finger and see that I have 15 missed calls. Well great. I swipe the bar up again and check the latest messages.

When I close Instagram again it is already 5 o'clock. Sure, time goes so fast right now. I get up and push my phone back where it was, wedged between an elastic band and my arm. I jog back to the pack house at a leisurely pace. A few meters before the packhouse I stop to listen. The sound of the voices is interrupted by another sound, maybe a game on the Xbox or something. "She suddenly got up .... is she mad at me?" A man's voice asks, Elijah. I feel something, a feeling. Is it fear? But I'm not scared, but wait a minute ... I can feel his feelings! How cool! A woman's voice responds to him. "I think I better… can talk… maybe want… to be alone." I think it's Sanne. Of course it is Sanne, who else is so calm? Arianne is very different. I take a deep breath and push open the door. Adam and John are gaming, as I expected. Adam is sprawled on the couch facing the TV and John is sitting on the back with his feet on the armrest. "Hello" I say. "Hi" John says distracted. He looks at me briefly but then turns back to the TV. I stop next to the couch, waiting for them to figure it out. John blinks his eyes a few times and then looks back to me. "Wait, Amy?" I smile. "The one and only." He pauses the game. Adam growls and turns it back on, whereupon John slaps him on the leg. "Amy is back Elijah! "Adam mumbles. I have a hard time holding back my laugh. Suddenly Adam gets up and looks at me. For a few seconds he says nothing." Amy, you're back! "His expression is really priceless. I laugh and they look at me in surprise, which makes me laugh harder. Sanne and Elijah storm down the stairs. "Amy! You're back! "I practically roll on the floor laughing. Their faces, it's hilarious.

When I'm done laughing,.they look at me with a funny stare. "Where have you been all day?" Sanne then asks. "I'll tell you after I've taken a shower and changed" I say sternly. I walk towards the stairs. "Excuse moi? Can I pass?" I ask Elijah who is standing in front of the stairs and therefore blocks the stairs for me. He steps aside and I walk up the stairs. Once at the top, I catch a glimpse of their surprised faces. I chuckle. Really priceless.
