Chapter 37

I wake up and see that I am completely naked. I blush at last night's memories. The clock says it is already 11:30 am. Elijah is still sleeping. Sleepyhead. I get up and quickly grab some clothes and take a quick shower. When I'm done, I take the smeared makeup off my face and apply a thin layer of mascara. I comb my hair and put it in a bun. Elijah is still sleeping. I walk across the room to the bed. "Elijaaaah, wake up!" No answer. Hmmm. I walk to the bathroom and grab a cup of ice-cold water. Payback time. (Chapter 25) I walk to Elijah with the cup in my hand and throw the water in his face. He screams and shoots up. I am laughing. He looks at me indignantly. "Not funny." He mutters. Which only makes me laugh harder. He sighs and changes clothes.

I go downstairs and see that Sanne and Arianne are already sitting at the dining table.
I tell the cook what I want to eat and sit next to them. I tell them I threw ice cold water in Elijah's face and how he reacted. They laugh and so do I. Elijah, John and Adam walk in. They look at us and then shrug. The food is put on the table and they sit down. Sanne, Arianne and I are still laughing. "What's so funny?" John asks. I tell him and he and Adam have a hard time holding back their laughter. Elijah gives me a deadly look, and I smile at him.

"Hey, shall the four of us go shopping?" There is a moment of silence on the other end of the line. "Of course I want that!" Then she screams. Okay. Diana agrees, I say to Sanne and Arianne. "Where do we meet? At the cafe?" She asks. "Yes, that sounds good. Shall we meet in..... Uhm... An hour?" I answer. "Yes"
"Until then!" "Until then!" And I put the phone down. "We'll meet at the cafe in an hour, shall we go?"

An hour later the four of us are sitting in the cafe talking about ..... Clothing! Surprise! We walk to a store that sells all kinds of summer clothes and look around. I ended up having 3 shorts and 2 dresses. 1 pair of shoes and 6 new crop tops.
In total we have 10 pants, 6 dresses, 7 pairs of shoes and 15 crop tops. That store will be rich with us. We walk out of the store and look around the shopping center. Suddenly Diana screams. "How can we forget that!" She says while giving herself a facepalm. "Amy must have a nice dress for the initiation ritual!" I protest. "But we do that in wolf form, right?"
A few people look at us strangely. Logical. What would you think if you heard people talk about an 'initiation ritual' and 'wolf shape'? Indeed. That they are crazy.
"You have to look good when you're in front of the pack, don't you?" They pull me into a store and shower me with dresses. I choose one. It is a purple dress that has three-quarter sleeves and reaches about to my knees. Then we all go home again. We'll have a special taxi come and drive to my pack. How good it feels to say or think that however you want to say it. My pack.

"I'll stay for dinner at Amy's." Diana says. "But ..." I hear Ash say on the phone in a muffled voice. "See you after dinner!" Diana says. And she hangs up.
"Done," she says with a smile. The boys also come in and look strangely at Diana. "What is she doing here? You guys only went shopping, right?"
I give Elijah a deadly look and he immediately shuts up.

After dinner Diana packs her things and takes the taxi back to her pack. "We have to do that again." Arianne says. "That's for sure," Diana answers her. "Until then!" She gets into the taxi and drives away. Sanne and Arianne focus on me. "Now we are going to fix your outfit." Oh oh ....

10 hours. It's that late already. I'm wearing my new dress with matching heels. Sanne does my make-up and Arianne my hair.

10:45. I walk outside with Elijah to the pack. The pack has gathered in front of the house in wolf form so that they dont need to transform. You can't talk in wolf form yourself, but you can listen to what someone says, so Elijah gives a short speech and then walks in to transform. I walk to our room and transform. Elijah comes in as I walk out of the room, and go downstairs. Elijah comes right after me, also in wolf form.
I push open the door and see that the whole pack is already waiting, including Sanne, John, Adam and Arianne. I watch every wolf. They come in all colors. White, brown, black, gray, mixed colors such as black and white, white-brown, black-brown.

My gaze falls on a little girl, Lizzie. She runs forward, several wolves try to stop her but she is too fast. She comes to me and hugs my paw. Then she looks me in the eye.
"Can I sit on your back again, Luna?" A brown wolf comes forward. "I'm sorry Luna, she's quite stubborn." The wolf, probably her mother, is getting ready to take Lizzie back to her place, but I stop her. "It's okay" I really love kids. She nods and walks back to her place. I lie down and Lizzie climbs onto my back.

I walk through the doorway with Lizzie on my back and the pack moves apart to make room for me and Elijah. Elijah leads me to the forest. I follow Elijah.

About fifteen minutes later we arrive at a small river that zigzags between the rocks. (media) I walk to the highest rock and stand on it. The pack members spread out over the rest of the stones. Elijah's feet are in the stream. I can feel Lizzie moving on my back, a sign that she wants tot get off. I lie down a little and she gets of off my back. Everyone has found a place and is ready. The last clouds are drifting further and further from the moon, and I howl at it. Elijah participates, then John and Sanne, Adam and Arianne. And ultimately, the whole pack. We go on like this for a few minutes. I stop and everyone imitates me. Everyone lies down as a sign that they accept me. It is now official. I am officially Luna of the Blackmoon pack.
