It smells like vanilla and almond. I look around to see where my mate is. In the mean time, five wolves are surrounding me. And judging from their eyes, they are mind-linking with someone, probably their alpha. I look around, looking for my mate. Maybe he can distract one of these wolves, so I can escape. in that moment I see him. He just walked through the trees. My mate is large and has a black fur. He looks straight at me with his blood red eyes. "Hello who are you?" I hear in my head, it's the big black wolf, my mate. His voice gives me shivers, but not the bad kind. "I'm Amy" I answer. He nods. "come to my pack," He then says after a few minutes of silence. I shake my head no; I have to stay with my friends. "Come along" he growls. "At least say goodbye to your friends Amy," Amelia tells me. I sigh and walk into the cave. " Where are you going?" It's the black wolf again. I realize now that I don't know his name yet. "I'm going to say goodbye to my friends," I finally say. "Okay," he replies. I walk over to my friends, who are still in the cave. "Who is there?" It's Samuel. "They are pack wolves. The Alpha is my mate,"
I mind link to him. He nods. "Be careful, eh? We'll stay here if you want to visit us," Sabrina says. I see how her eyes start to water and I walk over to her. If we were in human vorm I would have hugged her. "Thank you. I really appreciate that. Goodbye, for now," I say to everyone. I blink a few times to get rid of the upcoming tears. "Goodbye" I say again to everyone and walk out to the Alpha and the other five wolves.

The black wolf makes a gesture that I have to follow him. I do as he asks  and the other wolves follow me. "What is your name anyway?" I ask the black wolf. "I'm Elijah. The Alpha of the blackmoonpack," He says, head raised in the air proudly.  I really have a thing for Alpha's, don't I?
