I let the water rinse off all the sweat while I think about what to tell and what not to tell. I wash the last shampoo out of my hair and get out of the shower. Next I rub my hair dry and then dry my body. I let my hair hang down on my back, and I put on skinny jeans with a wide gray sweater. Calmly I walk downstairs and see that everyone is sitting in the living room, including Arianne, they are talking or watching John and Adam's play. I walk into the living room and sit in an empty chair. The game is turned off. Apparently my story is more important. Everyone looks at me expectantly. I tell them about my dream, but I leave the part with the two little wolves out. I also tell them everything I did, but of course I take out the pieces that I was dizzy and found out I was pregnant. They nod understandingly. "I also had a little stomach ache this morning." Arianne then says. I smile at her. She's the only one who's said anything since I told my story.

There is an uncomfortable silence, and for a moment I'm afraid they'll catch on to me. That they know I haven't told the whole story. But all that happened is that Elijah mainly looks at me. "We'll talk about that later, shall we have dinner?" I sit at the table eating my spaghetti, but my thoughts are completely different. Where is the child going to sleep? And how do we make the house childproof? It is necessary, otherwise the baby will still hurt itself. The questions are all over my mind, but I don't know the answers. Someone is clearing his throat, Adam. I look up. Everyone at the table looks at me. Akward. Very, very akward. "Sorry what did you say?" I ask. Adam asks the question again. "Redecorating the house, what would you think of that?" What? ARE YOU SERIOUS? Do they hear my thoughts? "No, but I do😉😏😁" Says Amelia, my wolf. Haha funny Amelia. "You know me" she answers. I close the mindlink. "That might be handy because ..." I begin. I can barely hold back the last few words. 'because now that there is a baby coming, the house must be safe'. I clear my throat. "Because it's not very modern anymore." I decide to say. Everyone nods in agreement, except for Elijah, who looks at me suspiciously. My god, how do I keep this up until tomorrow?

After dinner I get up immediately, happy to finally have an excuse to leave this awkward situation. Elijah was looking at me the whole time. I really thought all the time that he knew what I was hiding. I help the cook bring the dishes to the kitchen and do the dishes. I actually want to go to bed right away, I'm really exhausted. But that is not possible, because then i'm suspicious. And I also don't want to be with the rest, then questions are asked, but if I don't it is completely strange. Do you understand my dilemma? I decide to sit in the living room with the rest. I come in and sit next to Elijah. God, I'd love to just tell you now, Elijah. But, I hold back, I want to tell it in private. Sanne takes the remote control and turns on Netflix. She chooses a film, which I don't know exactly because my eyes keep closing. After a while I close my eyes anyway, just for a few seconds ... "Amy, don't fall asleep." Elijah whispers in my ear. I open an eye and look at his face. "I didn't do that, I was just closing my eyes ... " I put my head on his shoulder and fall asleep.

Elijah wakes me up. I sleepily open my eyes and see that I am still lying on the couch. "Mmmmh?" He gets up and gestures for us to go to bed. Sanne and Arianne are also upstairs I guess. I lie down on the couch again and close my eyes. He sighs and lifts me up. I put my head back against his shoulder. I hardly feel him laying me down in our bed and lying next to me himself, too deep asleep.
