Candace : No I understand besides Frankie and I made roasted marshmallows. It's been a while since we had them .

Candace picked up a mini plate and stacked up

Candace : She got what? Her house is like an organic fortress how the hell she got sick.

Candace: Why would she tell Lucious?
Cookie: He went to her house and she spilled her secrets. I really need you and Carol to help with the intervention.

Cookie: I called my therapist we are doing it tonight.
Candace : Okay ill make arrangements for Frankie.
Cookie: you can bring him and Juanita will go to the guest wing and make him comfortable.

Cookie: ok. Cookie examined her sister. It wasn't like Candace to turn down a glass of wine especially when Renee was the main topic of discussion

Candace: He's... good. suddenly her mind traveled to the ramping that they were doing last night. She crossed her legs to ease the tension.
Cookie: so therapy is working.
Candace: Yea the lady seems to know what she's doing.

Candace : oh thank you . Smells so good .

Later on around 5:00 Lucious found Cookie setting up plates . He held her from behind and rubbed her bump .
Lucious: Let me do it baby.
Cookie: No this is fine you barely let me do anything already .
Lucious: your pregnant . You should be resting .
Cookie: I am rested . She rubbed his chin a bit .
Cookie: How are you feeling ?
Lucious: I don't know stuff like this just makes me appreciate you more and the growth of our relationship has shown.
Cookie turned in his hold .
Cookie: Me too babe . He rubbed her back gently.
Lucious: When everybody getting here .
Cookie: We still have two hours . I just pray that Renee listens more than she makes excuses .
Lucious: We will make her listen so that she's here for the baby .
Cookie put her forehead to his . He slightly pulled away and looked around .
Cookie: What is it ?
Lucious : Come here .
Cookie : Babe ... 😂😂 no. He lifted her up and placed her on the counter.
Cookie: I'm getting big you can't keep doing that.
Lucious: Please your light weight plus I been working out . I hate when you try to say your gaining weight . This is what pregnancy is baby .
Cookie : I know but I'm used to being slim what if I can't snap back .

Lucious carried her over to the first room they found .  Cookie was blessed to have Lucious . He didn't care about her flaws. He loved her stretch marks that were faded but only close enough for him to see . He loved who she was . She was the mother of his kids and the love of his life .
