SUMMARY!
While the Wizarding World may have been thrown into chaos by a particularly dark ( and powerful ) wizard who has the hearts and souls of many, the muggle world has no idea what's going on and Albus Dumbledore would prefer it stayed that way. With flimsy excuses in the newspapers about bridges collapsing and people going missing ( and it all seems too connected ), some muggles are taking it into their own hands to figure out what's going on.
Enter CIARA BUTTON: amateur investigative reporter who's seen an undisclosed portion of Scotland on a map, but never in real life. Travelling all the way from her town in the middle of nowhere, she's determined to crack the case of if it's actually uninhabited land ( or maybe a viking burial, you never know ). She always like to find out the truth.
Albus Dumbledore, always seen with a calm resolve, is quite positively freaking out. There's a muggle too near Hogwarts. Apparently ( the centaurs say ) she's camping in the woods. How the hell did she get past the magical barrier? His ego is not taking this too well.
It's been weeks and Ciara hasn't found anything to suggest viking burials or farms and is on the verge of giving up until she sees a lantern way in the distance of the woods that she's camped in ( it seems unsafe, but the creepy guy at the hostel in town would beg to differ ). She's so close to finding out and then she can submit her article to her town newspaper and get the scholarship to Oxford. All she needs is this one win.
