NAITO WAS ALSO HUMAN.

Sometimes ━ a bit too often ━ he felt guilty for feeling emotions. It was not that he shunned himself from them. No, he knew they were a part of him and that he was supposed to feel them. Yet, he couldn't shake the guilt off him. Having been raised in a family where everything revolved around Midori, it was easy to feel forgotten.

He did not blame Midori for such a thing, he never could. They had been raised that way, raised to praise Midori. He knew their parents wished for a daughter for they had lost one.

When things got hard, Naito imagined a world where he wasn't present.

A world where Midori's heart had been ripped out of her chest, where her other half had left. A world where his remnants had been scattered across the sky, twirling in circles with moondust and stars. A world where he shared stories with those who had managed to cross the river of the dead.

It sickened him to think that way ━ such gruesome thoughts. However, he couldn't stop himself.

But he was allowed to feel, right?

Watching the rest of his members (except for Midori) laugh and enjoy their time in the kitchen, a wave of loneliness washed over him. It felt oddly strange. To be surrounded by people and yet feel lonely. It was not that he was excluded. No, they included him in everything they did, yet that same damned feeling managed to take a hold of him.

Fingers reaching into his pocket, Naito pulled his phone out. Swiping and clicking on his screen, he only felt satisfied once he had found K's number.

Without a second thought, he pressed 'call'.
