001: The kid with the lollipop
WHEN MIDORI WAS SIX, SHE AND HER FAMILY WENT ON A TRIP TO ITALY. There, Midori met her love of nine days.
Their relationship lasted for nine days ━ nine whole days. And they even held hands once! And before they broke up, the boy with the lollipop bought a plastic ring for her. He told her to keep it on and remember his undying love for her.
Their parting wasn't because Midori fell out of love ━ not that she was in love with him anyway ━ but it was because Midori had to go home. They had only scheduled to be there for ten days so their relationship had to come to an end.
002: Naito's girlfriend's brother
MIDORI HADN'T REALLY BEEN PLANNING ON DATING ANYONE WHEN HSE WAS A TRAINEE. But alas, her feelings always said otherwise. While she rarely listened to them, dating was one of the things she hadn't been allowed to do, thus she said yes.
It wasn't serious, not to her and not to him either, which probably was for the best. It didn't last for long and that was something Midori knew, but she appreciated the time she got to spend with him, for he was a lovely boy.
003: Yang Jungwon
NOT EVERYONE WAS MEANT TO BE. Jungwon and Midori were no different. It was no tragedy or unrequited love. Instead, it was Jungwon being afraid of commitment. She had been crushing on him for a while and when he finally kissed her, Midori believed she had achieved peace in her mind ━ that was until he pulled away and left without another word. Refusing each and every single one of her attempts to talk to him, no matter how much she asked or demanded, Jungwon would not answer.
It was called ghosting for a reason.
Ignored and invisible to the naked eye, yet haunting and disturbing to the mind.
004: Hwang Hyunjin
IT STARTED WHEN THEY MET AT A MUSIC BANK. Midori plummeted into the sweet drink of infatuation. With him being sculptured by the gods and having a personality that could make even Hestia jealous was not a good combination for Midori. Sometimes, her own mind would be oblivious to acts of kindness, taking them as flirting instead━ or signs that they liked her.
But no matter how many signs he gave her, the public never approved. Thus, forcing them to depart from the heavens in their minds and turn time back to where Romeo and Juliet still walked this very ground.
