Chapter 7 - Third Time's a Charm Part 2

The next morning

Ankha's POV:

My alarm goes off, but I've been up for an hour in bed already. I turn off my alarm and sit up up in bed. I didn't sleep as well as I did the first night I'll admit, I'm so anxious about today and I'm both nervous and excited. 

Anko and Kurenai offered to walk with me on my first day so I should get dressed, they'll be here soon. 

The Hokage left a uniform along with a headband for me so I'll put that on, I reach for my clothes and I spot the t-shirt from that strange guy. I picked it up and it still smells like him. I shouldn't even be thinking about him after yesterday, I don't think he wants to get to know me. I don't even know his name...why do I keep thinking about him? Anyways, they should be here so I'll get dressed.

*Time Skip*

3rd Person POV:

"Everyone I'd like you to meet the newest member of our village and Hidden Leaf ninja, Ankha Satoshi!" Lady Tsunade, the current Hokage, introduced Ankha to the rest of the ninja. Ankha waved excitedly to her peers and they all greeted her with enthusiasm, this put her at ease and she was relieved! 

Ankha's POV:

I wave my hands after Lady Hokage's introduction; they're all so happy to have me here and I can't wait to get started. Everyone is so nice! Lady Hokage continues to brief the rest of us on duties for the week and she asks me to come to her office once I'm done mingling. I nod and walk over to Anko and Kurenai. "Hey ladies!" I say greeting them. "Ankha, this is Asuma and Iruka" Anko says. I greet them warmly, "Hi it's nice to meet you" I shake Asuma's hand first and then Iruka's. "It-I-It's nice to me-me-meet you to-too" Iruka manages to stutter out, his face turns red. " Iruka, are you okay?" I asked concerned. His nosebleeds and he excuses himself from the group. "Damn idiot" Asuma huffs as he lights another cigarette. "Sorry about that, he's never been good around women but I've never seen him that stuck." Asuma says apologetically, not admitting Ankha's beauty has him equally interested. "Kurenai, have you heard from Kakashi? I'm surprised he isn't here. I know he's always late, but I didn't expect him to miss the whole meeting." Anko and Kurenai both look around to see if they can find him.

 "I'm glad to meet you all, but I'll catch up with you later, the Hokage wants to talk to me about something" and I take off towards her office.

I make it to her office and I knock. "Enter" I hear a voice say. I greet the Hokage, "Ankha, we're so glad to have you here and I hope you haven't had any difficulties moving in." I let her know I'm adjusting. "You were spoken very highly of and I'd like you to partner with our top Jonin in the village, from here on out you two will be working together." As soon as she finished her sentence there was another knock on the door.  

The door opens and my jaw dropped to the floor.

"Ankha, meet your new partner...Kakashi Hatake"

Without thinking I walked across the room and slapped him, then excused myself from the Hokage's office.

3rd Person POV:

The Hokage looks at Kakashi and takes a deep sigh, "You two have obviously met before" she says slightly annoyed. "I don't care what you did, but fix it. Now."

Still stunned from the slap, Kakashi exits the Hokage's office to go find Ankha.

Kakashi's POV:

Shit. No one has slapped me before, but I'll admit I deserved it. The kinky side of me might have enjoyed it a bit if I'm being honest. She's perfect and I've got to make things right, but how? I see Anko and Kurenai up ahead and I catch up to them rubbing my cheek. "Hey Kakashi where you been and what the hell happened to you?" Anko asks. Not feeling like getting into details I just ask, "Have you guys seen Ankha?" Kurenai hesitates and says, "She went home, we saw her storm out of the Hokage's office, she looked pretty upset" 

"Yeah, that's kind of my fault" I say ashamed. Both Anko and Kurenai stare at me furiously waiting for me to go into further explanation.

I tell them everything minus me being a pervert and watching her in my bathroom to her slapping me moments ago. 

"Kakashi you fucking idiot! She thinks you took advantage of her that night and that you hate her because you didn't say anything the next morning!" Kurenai is irritated. "Look you need to go explain to her what really happened and apologize for being so damn stupid" Anko says annoyed. I already feel like an idiot, but hearing them explain what she thought happened make me feel worse. I wish I would've talked to her sooner and let her know it wasn't what she thought. Fuck, I gotta talk to her. I turn to leave and head towards her house.

"Oh, Kakashi" I hear my name and before I could fully turn around in one swift motion I feel my kicked out from underneath me causing me to fall on my ass. 

"What the fuck Anko! What did you do that for?!" Now I'm pissed.

"You had it coming and I promised Ankha if I found out who did it I'd kick their ass" She says smirking at me.

Whatever. I get up and dust myself off and head to Ankha's. I hope she talks to me.

I make it to her apartment and take a deep breath. I can do this. I knock and nothing happens. Maybe she didn't hear me. I knock again a little louder this time and I hear a voice coming to the door. Shit, this is it Kakashi don't fuck this up. 

She opens the door and looks up at me with those big brown eyes I could just get lost in.
