Naruto x Hinata: The Cherry Blossom Festival

Sasuke had helped Naruto plan this. Sasuke never helped him, so this was special. It would work flawlessly, if everything went as it should. Naruto knew Hinata was cute, he always thought she was in one way or another, but after he discovered her massive crush on him, Naruto had started to notice more of the small things she did. They way she would twiddle her thumbs when she asked questions, or when she lightly blushed whenever he tried to talk to her, but also her fierce determination. Although Hinata was normally a shy, and sweet girl, if someone pissed her off they were dead. Like actually dead, and she earned Naruto's respect because of that.

Soon her feelings were mutual, and Naruto had asked Sasuke about how to confess. Sasuke was all too willing to help, because it meant Naruto would stop hitting on Sakura. The cherry blossom festival was coming up and all he had to do was find a romantic location, and give her a flower. It sounded simple enough right?

Naruto stopped by Ino's flower shop, where she had a beautiful dahlia waiting for him.

"Go get that girl Naruto!," she yelled excitedly as she passed the pink flower towards him.

"I will, believe it!," he shouted with a pumped fist, after he carefully grasped the dahlia in his hand.

*Meanwhile*

Hinata was walking with Kiba, where they met up with Sasuke and Sakura for the festival.

"So, are you guys excited for all the games and good or what!," Sakura shouted a little too loud for Hinata's taste, but she shook it off and just twiddled her small thumbs instead.

"Y-yeah I guess-s it wo-ould be fun-n," she muttered nervously. Sakura ran up beside her shy friend and grabbed her arm. Hinata's pale eyes immediately shut upwards and into Sakura's green ones. Sakura just smiled and dragged her along through many different events and games. Hinata sighed, and snuck off to a beautiful bridge, secluded from the other events. The light pink cherry blossoms colored the sky and landed in the clear stream. The tree's color perfectly accented the redness of the small bridge she was standing on. Birds flew by, chirping in peace, while Hinata could no longer hear the loud noises coming from the main festival.

"This is so beautiful," she sighed in contentment. She could stay here forever, the only thing that could make it better was that stupid blond-haired knucklehead being here with her.

"Not as beautiful as you," a quiet voice came out from behind her. Speak of the devil-

"O-oh! Th-hanks Nar-ruto-kun," Hinata responded, her face turned a nice tomato red color. Once again twiddling her thumbs while staring at the ground. "Y-you know-w Naru-uto, u-um you aren't half-f bad-d yourself-f..." she muttered quietly trying her best to not explode in his beautiful gaze.

"Thanks Hinata!," Naruto exclaimed while half jumping into the air, his bright yellow hair standing straight up. He began to get nervous and now he was the one twiddling his thumbs... 'When have I ever been this nervous in my life before???'

"I got you this flower... Ino said you liked dahlia's..." he whispered. He pulled out the flower from behind his back with his eyes closed and pressed it into her hand. His touch was electrifying. Hinata almost passed out right there, but she stopped herself.

"Thanks Naruto! That was very sweet of you!"

'Woah, I didn't stutter... The hell is going on???' she asked herself.

"Hinata?"

"Hm?"

"You aren't stuttering," Naruto pointed out while scratching the back of his head.

"O-oh, I guess that just means I'm comfortable around you now..."

"Sweet!!!," Naruto shouted, before grabbing her small hands in one of his large ones and planting a soft kiss on her forehead.

Hinata gasped as she felt the warm sensation on her head. Her face, no, her entire body turn a hue of pink. Naruto stepped off his tiptoes, and started walking back towards the crowd, still holding Hinata's hand.

"Let's go get some ramen! My treat!"

"Sure," Hinata answered with a grin.
