"We finally made it. Shinjuku."

We stand before the tall wall, on its last stand, as it separates Shinjuku from outside forces. With smoke emitting from behind those very walls, shouts can be heard from the inner world...

"Hurry!"

We enter as a voice emits from the speakers in the city.

"𝙴𝚖𝚎𝚛𝚐𝚎𝚗𝚌𝚢! 𝙴𝚖𝚎𝚛𝚐𝚎𝚗𝚌𝚢! 𝚆𝚎 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚞𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚛 𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚊𝚌𝚔! 𝚅𝚊𝚖𝚙𝚒𝚛𝚎 𝚛𝚎𝚒𝚗𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚌𝚎𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚜 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚌𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚛𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚍 𝚘𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚆𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚗 𝚠𝚊𝚕𝚕. 𝙰𝚕𝚕 𝚌𝚒𝚝𝚒𝚣𝚎𝚗𝚜 𝚎𝚟𝚊𝚌𝚞𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝙴𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚗 𝚠𝚊𝚕𝚕 𝚒𝚖𝚖𝚍𝚎𝚍𝚒𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚕𝚢."

Chaos erupts between the soldiers who were tasked with protecting Shinjuku.

"Shinjuku is the Japanese Imperial Demon Army's second Capital!! How can they let vampires attack?!
"What are those extermination units doing?!"

Don't kill them. Don't kill them. Guren will kill me if I kill them.

"What is going on?" Yuu asks Shinoa.
"As they said. A vampire attack."

Just then, another explosion sounds from a building behind us as chunks of stone and brick fly everywhere.

Helicopters dominate the skies, although soldiers shoot some down with weapons similar to Yoichi's cursed gear.

'Hah, what a bunch of copies.'

'Gekkouin, why are you in my head?'
'You know Hikari invited me. Good luck dealing with m-.'

'Awh, you kicked him out.'
'I don't have the energy to deal with another demon, Hikari.'

The helicopter crashes as Yoichi exclaims,
"Those guards have cursed gear just like us!"

"Close, but not the same, Yoichi. That's the downgraded version." I correct.

"Right it's called the enchanted gear. Normal firearms don't even scratch vampires." Mitsuba adds.

"Things look bad. It's practically an all-out war. Lt. Colonel was right." Kimizuki frets.

"The Kansai vampires are out to destroy... the entire Japanese Imperial Demon Army!" Mitsuba relays.

The announcement begins again,
"𝙰𝚕𝚕 𝚊𝚟𝚊𝚒𝚕𝚊𝚋𝚕𝚎 𝚜𝚘𝚕𝚍𝚒𝚎𝚛𝚜 𝚛𝚎𝚙𝚘𝚛𝚝 𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚆𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚗 𝚋𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚕𝚎𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚗𝚝! 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚟𝚊𝚖𝚙𝚒𝚛𝚎𝚜 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚊𝚝𝚝𝚊𝚌𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚒𝚗 𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚌𝚎! 𝚂𝚑𝚒𝚋𝚞𝚢𝚊 𝚒𝚜 𝚜𝚎𝚗𝚍𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚛𝚎𝚒𝚗𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚌𝚎𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚜... 𝙷𝚘𝚕𝚍 𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚞𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚕 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚗!"

"Well? What's our squad gonna do?" Yuu asks. Shinoa and Mitsuba look at each other before agreeing.

"We are a vampire extermination unit, aren't we? If there are vampires... We kill them on the front lines!"

We race to the front lines where the heat of the battle is concentrated.
