first off, i hope you
never stop
i hope your
mind
forever rests
somewhere up high
amongst the
gloriously fluffy
clouds
tinged with
golden sunset
like an oil painting
from the
renaissance
to the
dreamers
i hope your
hopes grow
as you do
sharpie lines on a
wall
with dates
scribbled
next to them
i hope your
dreams
are marked there
beside you
to the
dreamers
i hope that you know
you aren't foolish
for falling out of
touch
with reality
every so often
i hope that you know
you are
brave
to make your escape
from our mundane reality
knowing full well
that you'll have to
come back
to it
to the
dreamers
i hope you find others
like you
i hope you get your
fall walks and
summer afternoons
i hope you smile
i hope that your prose
doesn't read of
better days
than this one
to the
dreamers
i hope you find your
place
for even if you
believe
your place is amongst
angels
it is more likely
amongst those of us
down here
who spend their days
thinking
of angels
just like you
to the
dreamers
i hope your hands
never cease
in their work
i hope your art
shines beyond
measure
the way your
skin shines under
the sun
i hope every piece
is more skillfully
crafted
than the last
i hope your value
is seen
to the
dreamers
i said it before
but i hope you
never stop
i hope your longing
for something
more
than
this
is always there
it's the only way
this world can
keep evolving
i hope you never stop
wishing
even when you have
all that you wish for
to the dreamers
i hope you never stop
trying to change
the whole world
because it's big
it's wide
and it seems
impossible
at times
to even make a
dent where you'd like
to find a crevice
you'd call your own
but don't ever
give up
keep fighting
to the
dreamers
i hope you never stop
musing about
sunsets
and mooning over
summer afternoons
and peach-infused
kisses
dances under the
moonlight
i hope you never stop
dreaming
of your dreams
to the
dreamers
i hope your
creativity
never stops flowing
upwards from your
heart
like the nile
i hope you
dream
dream
dream
until you can't dream
anymore
to the
dreamers
we are one and the
same, and
my dream
is that i find a
dreamer
like
you
