to meet someone that
their soul
speaks to
the way your
soul
speaks to me
and maybe it's just the
addled recesses of my
trapped, twisted, teenage
mind
or maybe, for once in my
life
i'm right
about something
you never read
anne of green gables
but i read it a
thousand
times
and i think that we're
what anne would call
kindred spirits
twin flames
or maybe
in today's
vernacular
though the word
seems to count
for little
these days:
soulmates.
