"Agh!" Ragni screamed in deep agony. Her eyes had trails of tears dripping down. Clenching her stomach with her one hand, with the other she picked her cell phone from the table next to the bed she was half laying on.

With trembling fingers she rummaged through the call log. Clicking finally on the number, for which her eyes serching through. She sticked an ear to her phone, waiting for it to picked up. Even though she was in great misery, her lips had a small smile tugged at. Her eyes more than the tears of sadness, were filled tears of joy. The joy of being able to cherish the moment of new motherhood after 12 years.

"Yes Ragni."

"Rohan, our baby is coming out."

"What?"

"Yeah. Please come soon!"

Placing the phone back on the table, she waited for someone to come and check for her.

As if on cue, she heard a knock on the door.

"Bhabhi-" Before Riddhi could complete her sentence, she was shocked by the condition of    Ragni who looked as her baby pouch will explode anytime and the baby will come out.

"Is it the time?"

All Ragni could do was to nod at her, meekly.

"Kaki!" Riddi called for their maid, who from generations were working for the Singhanias.

"Yes, Choti Sahiba?"

"Take bhabhi to the room, it's the time." Ordered Riddi. They, unlike the usual people did not go to the hospital for their kids delivery instead it was Kaki's sister who delivered the babies.

It was not that Ragni's family couldn't afford a doctor, they were The Singhanias the most rich and affluent family of Shimla. They not only had khandani paisa, but their Patriarch Raja Veer Shekhar Singhania had the business of the most honourable education institutions in and Shimla. His most business was handled by his four sons, whom he called as his four limbs.

But from generations it never happened that the women of Singhania's give birth to their  children in hospital. First it was kaki's grandma then her mother and finally it was her sister, who delivered the kids.

"Congratulations Sahab! It's a girl." Kaki handed Rohan his daughter, who from yours was waiting for infant to be placed in his hands.

"She is beautiful." Rohan held the little bundle of joy in hands, who was wrapped in fluffy pink blanket.

"Congratulations Bhai sahab." Mridula the wife of Rohan's older brother and Raja Veers' first son Radayesh, congratulated the new father.

"Thank you bhabhi." Rohan expressing his gratitude, gave the baby in his sister-in law's arms, "Are the kids back?" He couldn't help asking the whereabouts of the kids who were at school, most importantly the whereabouts of his son Agastya, who is gonna be on seventh heaven after knowing his  little sister for whom he has been keenly waiting since last 9 months has finally graced their lives with her presence.

"They're here. I'll go and call Agastya." Just like always Mridula guessed the unsaid, and left to call her nephew. She handed the baby back to her mother who was still unconscious, with midwife doing her job.

"Agastya."

"Yeah taiji?" The twelve year boy, dressed smartly, glanced up from his math homework, showing his perfect set of 32s.

"Guess what?" Mridula wanted to play a little with her un-biological son, "Your little sister is here." Sighing, she answered after a moment she saw him not paying attention to her yet solving the math book which was a bit too complicated for 12 year olds, but there he was solving with utter easiness.

"What-" Agastya did not even mind completing. Dropping his Parker pen on top of his notebook, he rushed out his room.

"Where is she?" Agastya panted as he reached the 2nd floor, his gaze moving around, he questioned for his sister to dad and uncles who were standing in front of the door.

"Here!"

With perfect tenderness Agastya held his precious baby sister in his arms. Her adorable glossy onyx eyes which were perfectly matching to his own, her cute tiny button nose, her baby pink heart shaped lips, her chubby  cheeks which had become pink and now resembled to the fluffy pink blanket wrapped around her. Indeed it was love in first sight for Agastya, who had promised himself to protect the little angle in his arms from every single danger.

"What are you going name the child?" The raspy voice of the Singhania Patriarch, Raja Veers' broke in.

"Well. I think Agastya should give her a name." Rohan replied to his dad. Chucking at the memory how his son read different books of names. He endlessly searched for a name, to give hai younger sibling.

Everyone's eyes were on Agastya, who after a minute spoke up, "She will be called Roshni."
He named his sister what she actually was, the light in their darkness; Roshni.
