Hearing my brother, my sister-in-law's face morphed in extreme confusion. "These gifts." She whispered, looking at her sister, whose expression resembled to her.

My brother was thinking, rather too deeply as his the creases on his forehead showed. "The gifts you sent, bhai." Earlier than bhai could inquire something more about the gift unknown to him, I spoke up. My eyes settled at him, who in return was looking at me with uncertainty visible in his features. I fluttered my eyelashes at him to let the matter drop. Understanding my unsaid words, he left the room.

"Is everything okay?" Asked Niharika's sister.

"Yeah. He must've got some work." I smiled at Rida. Her sight moved from me to Niharika, her gaze lingered at her older sister for a few moments till she nodded in reassure at the younger one.

Niharika peeped inside the basket, "oh look, here's a card too." Her lips turned in a deeper curve, soon her white teeth were visible. "Mr Singhania wrote such pretty things for me."

"Show. Show." Her sister tried to snatch the card from Niharika, who leaned over to the other side, almost laying on the couch. Her hands and head were in the air, her long brown tresses messed and flowed with a puff of air coming from the balcony. Rida stretched over her to get the card, Niharika moved a more to the other side.

They were acting like kids, and their duo reminded me of my cousins, Manish and Mahika, Kairav and Ahana. Even Dhruv bhaiya and Deeksha didi when they were young. All of them did this, snatching each-other's stuff, fighting.

Typical siblings.

My brother and I were never like this. I respected him too much to do all this, and he loved me too much to do things like these, and then he was too matured than me. So stuff like these never took place between us. Our relationship was different than regular siblings, well, then why it wouldn't happen. He had raised me, for him, I wasn't like his sister, more I was like a child to him.

"Excuse me." Niharika and Rida say up straight, with the commanding voice of bhai. He was getting inside my room, with his wife half laying on the couch and half flying in the air, blocked his path. He shook his head at his wife. He walked till my white study table, grabbed his suit jacket and soon was out of our sight.

Niharika tsked and palmed her face, "how embarrassing was that." Her voice came out muffled. Rida got the hold of the rose gold card which was dropped on her lap, "no." She whined at her sister who'd started reading it.

"Let me read, please." She moved to the white chair which was previously taken by my brother. Her eyes widened a few times as she read the card, "aww, jiju is so cute." She dreamily kept a hand on her chest.

"I know right." Niharika bit her lower lip. Her checks turned red, she clenched her eyes and opened them again quickly. Her teeth chewed on her lips.

Is she crazy? In love with him, definitely.
