Part 27~ Dad?

A week later-

Hinata's POV~
"Hey Tobio, can you come grab Hanako!" I yelled from upstairs.

I had just gotten the twins dressed up so that we could go out today. We are going down the town to do some shopping, and let the twins pick some stuff out.

"Yeah! Be right there" Tobio called back and a few moments later he appeared in the bedroom holding the twins small coats, although it's spring we still want them to stay warm.

"Awww. They look so cute!" I awed at they're cuteness. Its crazy, they're hair has grown out down to their shoulders, it's black, thick and curly. Very similar to my hair texture and Tobio's color.

"They are very cute" Tobio chuckled and swooped Hanako up in his arms. She huffed and let out a loud laugh, while I picked up Harumi who patted my cheeks and layed her head on my chest.

"Alright, let's get going!" I smile and we soon walk out of the house, and start walking to the town.

The walk was peaceful, with the occasional huffing that came from the twins, but other than that it was nice and quiet as me and Tobio held hands, walking.

We decided to get some shopping done first so we went to our local supermarket and grabbed some fruits and such. We didn't really grab much, only because we didn't need a lot.

Of course not after long, the twins started getting bored and a bit fussy, so we decided to go to the toy store to let them pick out some stuffed animals and such.

Of course, they had a blast. Harumi immediately reached her arms out for the pile of stuffed animals that were stacked on a shelf. Hanako went with Tobio over to the toy car section, she had a huge obsession with race cars.

I was over with Hanako when I saw a familiar figure, although I wasn't sure if I was mistaken him for someone else, so I kept my distance.

That was until he spotted me as-well. He soon walked over "Shoyo?" He approached and looked down at me. "D-dad?!"

I was kinda shocked. I haven't seen him in two years, well that was due to my mother not letting me keep contact with him, I didn't know his phone number or anything, let alone where he was.

See just a little while after I met Tobio, my dad left my mother after she started to pick fights with him constantly. Over every small thing, if he was late from work he would accuse him of cheating or purposely being late, for who knows what reason.

This lead to them divorcing, I wanted to take Natsu and go live with him, but the court only left my mother with full custody of us. He tried so hard to keep us together, but nothing worked.

He moved away a while after.. but what was he doing back? Let alone in a toy store. "Oh my gosh, I can't believe it's you" he smiled and soon shifted his gaze to Harumi who was staring at him while leaning her head on my shoulder. "Who's this?" He smiled and gave her a little wave as she continued to stare at him.

"Oh.. well um, this is my daughter... Harumi" I looked down at her with a small smile, then back at him. His eyes widened "Are you serious. Wait.... o' my gosh I'm a grandfather?!" he fixed his gaze back to me and I gave him a smile, "yeah.. you have a granddaughter. Acually, two" I looked at him as his eyes widened yet again.

"Two? Wait. Who is the mother?" He asked, I shifted all my weight from one leg to the other and hefted Harumi up a bit. "Im they're mother...and Tobio, you remember him? He's the father"

I looked over at Tobio who had just taken notice of my conversation and walked over to us, holding Hanako who held a purple toy car in her hand.

"Oh wow... Shoyo, I'm proud of you" my father smiled "I know you guys must be amazing parents" he bowed at us and when he straightened himself up, smiled.

"Thank you so much sir" Tobio gave a small smile and reached his hand out for my dad to shake, who gladly shook it. 

"Dad. Thank you" I smiled and before carefully handing Harumi off to Tobio before giving my dad a hug.

It had been so long. I really missed him.

He teared up and hugged back. The hug lasted a good minute before we let go. I picked Harumi back up and looked at my dad who was watching us nervously. "You went to hold her?" I asked him, he looked down at me and nodded.

So I handed her to him and watched as she tended up at first but soon rested her head on his shoulder. My scent sorta matched his, so I guess it makes sense why she would be somewhat comforted by it.

My dad and I also share similar looks. Bright thick and orange hair, pale skin, and some freckles here and there. Only difference was that he was about 6'2 and I'm 5'4.

"Oh wow, they're so cute" my dad chuckled as Harumi reached up and patted his cheeks. I gave a small giggle as I watched their interaction. "Wait. Why are you in the toy store?" I asked, I mean I was slightly confused why he would be here of all places.

"Oh. Well I should tell you. I'm moving back here, I've found a small house not too far from here and I decided to come get some toys for Natsu. Although, I didn't realize how hard it would be to pick stuff out for her" he said and scratched the back of his neck nervously.

"Natsu would love to see you! I can help you pick something out if you would like!" I smiled as he handed Harumi back to me and nodded "that would be great thank you"

So that lead to us picking out some toys for Natsu, I helped him pick out some coloring books and stuffies. Those are her favorite.

We decided to invite my dad over to our house tonight. It's just been so long, so I wanted to spend more time with him. Of course he said yet to this, and the rest of the night was spent with us catching up the most we could.

Spending time with the twins, they didn't seem too used to him yet but then again, that might take some time. Harumi was a bit more clingy to him than Hanako was, Harumi stayed by his side for a while, and Im just really happy that they're getting close.

Hanako was hesitant at first but soon moved to his other side, taking her car and patting his leg with it, he chuckled and grabbed another car and started to play with him.

Milo joined us that night, he stayed on my lap as we all sat in the living room and played with the twins.
Tobio right next to me on the couch, with his hand wrapped around my waist.

I'm just happy to finally have my dad back in my life.
