Kageyama woke up to the sound of continuous beeping coming from the monitor machine. He sat up and looked down at Hinata who was still fast asleep.

He reached over to the small side table that sat next to the bed and grabbed his phone to check the time, seeing it was only 3am he sighed and placed it back down.

The door cracked open and Mai slipped into the room. "Sorry, I think one of the wires just got out of place" she gave a small and then walked over to the bed.

She clicked a few buttons on the monitor and the beeping stopped, she then checked a few of the wires placements. "Okay, all good" she said almost at a whisper, careful not to wake up Hinata. Then exited the room.

Kageyama snuggled up to Hinata again and fell back asleep,

The next time he woke up it was around 6:30, and Mai had come back into the room, but this time she had to wake up Hinata to do his vitals.

Kageyama got off the bed and gently shook Hinata awake, then brushed the messy orange hair away that covered his face.

Hinata stared at him for a moment and then looked over at Mai, "I'm sorry dear, we just have to do your vitals" she spoke quietly as she grabbed the Velcro's price to go around his arm. He nodded and just closed his eyes again.

"Sit up a bit for me" she said, Kageyama placed a hand on Hinata's back helping him sit up.

She pressed a few buttons and the machine went off, the strap tightening around his arm for a minute before deflating again. "Okay no we're gonna do one standing up" she said.

Hinata used the side of the hospital bed as support to stand up, while Kageyama helped him stay steady.

Once again the machine went off and after a moment Mai undid the strap and had him sit down 

She took the stethoscope off of her shoulders and placed it in her ears while holding the other end, "take a deep breath for me"

Hinata took a deep breath, in and out. She had him repeat it again a few times before putting the scope back on her shoulders and smiled.

Kageyama watched as Hinata went a bit pale and gag, placing a hand over his mouth. Mai quickly grabbed a bin and held it out for Hinata, barely making it in time before he threw up.

He coughed and leaned back a bit "I'm so sorry" he said and placed a hand on his head.

"Don't apologize dear, it's completely fine" she gave him a soft smile "why don't you go get cleaned up. The doctor should be coming in a short while so you have some time, just try to relax a bit." With that she cleaned up and exited the room.

Kageyama grabbed their toothbrushes out of their bag and helped Hinata over to the sink.

The two brushed their teeth and just freshened up a bit before the doctor came.

Hinata just stretched for a bit, the hospital bed was not the most comfortable especially for his already aching body.

Kageyama was texting his mom just checking in on how things were going, she said the twins woke up a few hours ago and haven't gone back to sleep, making them extremely cranky.
