Tobio took off for the next couple of weeks.
Yoshida let him know that they had a few games he would be missing, but Tobio made it clear that he needed to do this for his family, and wouldn't go back on his word to Shoyo.
So, he booked a waterfront vacation home for them for this week, and some of next.
The house is about an hour away, they didn't want to go anywhere too far, but Shoyo had always wanted to visit this spot, so Tobio made sure they got it, and for a good amount of time. _______
This morning, they finally made their way out of their house, and got on the road bright and early. ______
"Mama, I'm hungry" Kazuyo said, pouting in his booster seat, crossing his arms.
Shoyo turned his head and looked at Kazuyo, letting out a little laugh. "I told you that you would be hungry sweetheart, here, I packed some snacks" he said, reaching over and grabbing the small bag of snacks that he had packed before they left.
He handed the bag to Kazuyo, and just let him pick out whatever he wanted to have. The twins took a snack as well, while Kaito fell asleep, snuggling his little stuffie and blanket.
Shoyo turned back around, looking at Tobio and smiling.
Tobio focused on the road, only glancing over, but smirked when he saw Shoyo staring.
Shoyo giggled and turned his head back, Tobio reached out his hand, and opened it for Shoyo to hold. Which he gladly did. _______
It was a bit of a longer car ride, due to traffic, but around afternoon time, they finally reached the vacation home.
Shoyo and Tobio got out of the car, each going to one side and getting the kids out of the truck.
Tobio went up to the door of the house, and grabbed the key from under the mat that the owner had left there for them.
He unlocked to door, and called the kids and Shoyo over.
They all went inside, and were absolutely in love with the home.
