Part 48~ Worries

Kageyama woke up to the sound of birds chirping.

The sunlight peaking through the curtains, but he felt an unusual amount of warmth coming from beside him.

He sat up a bit, his eyes landing on Hinata who was almost drenched in sweat and looked extremely pale, with his breathing being a bit labored.

This made Kageyama wake up completely and immediately move closer to Hinata.

He felt his forehead and got even more worried when he felt him burning up.

He got out of bed and went into the bathroom, shuffling through the cabinet before finding the thermometer.

He went back over to the bed, only to find Hinata struggling to sit up.

"No baby, just stay lay back down okay" Kageyama spoke softly as he approached the bed, and wiped a piece of his hair off of hinata's face.

Hinata looked up at him, his face turned even paler as he gagged. Kageyama quickly grabbed the nearest bin he could find luckily finding one just in time.

Hinata shivered and leaned forward, extreme nausea hitting him. Kageyama held some of Hinata's hair back as he just continued to throw up, it wasn't unusual due to the morning sickness but this seemed to be much worse.

After a few minutes Hinata's stomach finally settled down and he was able to lean back a bit.

Kageyama picked the thermometer back up and took Hinata's temperature.

A few seconds passed and it beeped, he looked at the small temp screen and saw the flashing number that read "102" degrees.

Kageyama sat next to Hinata and rubbed his back in soothing circles.

Hinata moved closer to Kageyama and rested his head on his shoulder.

"Do you want me to run a cool bath for you, we should try to get your fever down" Kageyama asked as he ran his fingers through Hinata's hair, receiving a small nod.

Kageyama got up and then carefully helped Hinata to stand up.

Kageyama had Hinata sit down for a moment as he ran the bathtub, letting it fill up.

He went into the sink cabinet and pulled out some lavender bath salt, taking a small hand full and sprinkling it in the cool water.

After a few minutes of letting the bath run, and the salts dissolve, he helped Hinata undress himself. Then helped him step into the bath supporting his hips, to make sure he didn't loose his balance.

Hinata sighed as he settled down into the bath, feeling the cool water surround his body, and the scent of lavender relaxing him.

He looked over at Kageyama and gave him a small smile, "thank you" he said and closed his eyes, resting his head on the cool tile walls.
(Idk, when I'm sick I like leaning against the shower tiles bc it keeps me cool lol)

Kageyama held his hand and pressed a soft kiss on his forehead.

"I'm gonna go check on the twins, just stay in here and relax for a few" Kageyama said, Hinata nodded his head and just relaxed into the water again.
