My heart dropped and my head shook itself. No...I don't want this...I tried opening my mouth to scream, but my lips were glued shut. I could only suffer in silence.

I heard Zoey call out from behind us. "Zander, let her...go!" Just from the tone of her voice, I could tell she was beginning to break down.

"Oh? You're telling me what to do?" He pulled away from me walking towards her. My face dropped down staring at the dirt. Her body was suddenly thrust in front of me, and she screamed in agony. "How dare you defy me, you damned traitor!" He kicked her in the side several times causing her to spit out blood. Dammit! Body, move...talk, do something...Zander continued causing her to scream out even more.

Just stop...stop...stop...

"STOP!" The word was pushed out of me catching both of Zander's and Zoey's attention. My body began to shake endlessly. Walking back toward me, Zander squatted down and lifted my head once again. His eyes filled with rage and torment, but I couldn't look away.

"Even you defy me?" His eyes narrowing as he wrapped his hand around my neck. Lifting me, I began to suffocate, leaving my airwaves blocked for air. Zander's grip tightened, and suddenly I was released and dropped to the ground. I began coughing out as he grabbed my arm forcing me back up to my knees. "Next time, I won't be so easy."

Pulling me all the way up to my feet, his grip remained on my arm. He called out to one of the demons who brought us. "Grab that traitor and bring her with. I've got a little surprise for her." He pulled me past her, a chill slid down my spine. I couldn't even begin to imagine what he was going to do...

Dragging us through the castle, he lead us through a set of doors. This was basically his throne room, a walkway straight in the middle leading straight to the king's chair with a metal sphere at its side. Zander threw me into the chair, held me in place. I began to feel the burning sensation seep through my dress. Watching as the men threw Zoey down to the ground, I slowly clenched my fists. Zander whispered in my ear before he departed. "I want you to watch very closely, as I rip the very life out of her." Both my eyes and mouth dropped open. No...I couldn't...I wouldn't be able to bear it...

He instantly appeared over Zoey's body as she tried pushing herself up. Zander held in his hands the metal spear that laid dormant next to his chair. Lifting it further into the air, he shouted out. "IT ENDS NOW, ZOEY!!"

Something in my body wakened up resulting me into leaping out of the chair. I reached my arm out, practically screaming my lungs out. "NO!" Zander brought the spear down piercing straight through Zoey's heart. The blood in her chest splattered, drops landing on my face and dress. I instantly fell to my knees. My voice broke as I whispered to myself. "H-h-how...could, you..."

Zander slammed the spear into the ground right in front of my face. My reflexes kicked in forcing my body back. I looked up and saw him staring down at me, his face without a shred of regret. If anything, the smile on his face only got wider. "Did you enjoy that little entertainment?"

"E-enter...tainment...?" He is seriously ruthless, not even caring for his own sister. Even if he is a demon...shouldn't he have some sanity when it comes to that? Letting my emotions run wild, I blurted out my words. "You're wrong! How could you...easily do something like that...to one of your own? Even if you are a demon-"

Zander slapped his hand over my mouth shutting me up. "You let your emotions cloud your judgement. As for me, a demon who has no feelings, I could care less if hundreds were to die in front of me." Putting us nose to nose, all I could see was his red hellish eyes. "Maybe I should tie you up and kill hundreds in front of you until you lose your sanity...become as emotionless and dark as I am. And I know just the thing." I screamed out pushing myself back, away from him. Zander grabbed the back of my head holding it in place. "Wait here as I bring in the next victim."

He released me as he disappeared. The words echoed inside my brain. Next...victim? I already can't take this anymore! I could already feel my heart begin to shroud in darkness. Slowly standing to my feet, my arms were pulled behind me, held in place.

"The King has ordered me to keep you in place until his return." A croaky voice sounded behind my ears. I began to squirm and his grip got tighter.

**

The door began to open as Zander walked through. He dragged a body behind him until he approached us. He threw the body to my feet, and my heart sank. No...it can't be...

"How's this for a surprise?" Zander laughed as he stared at my mindless expression. I stared down at my feet only to see Caden lying there, unconscious.
