Valentina's POV:
Today's the weekend so me and my squad are hanging out. Later after dinner me and my brothers are going to have a movie night at home.
So here I am getting ready. Once I'm ready I wear my shoes and get my wallet and phone. I then head downstairs.
The twins were watching tv. They were so engrossed that they didn't even see me coming and sitting down next to them. Matteo then walked in.
"Hey", Matteo smiled sitting down next to me
"Heya", I smile but still looking down at my phone texting Ryan.
"You going somewhere?", Matteo asked curiously
"Yeah me and the squad are hanging out..like first we're gonna watch a movie and then probably eat somewhere", I shrug looking at him.
"Okay..do you want me to drop you somewhere?", Matteo asked
"Nah Iris and the others are picking me, Stacy and Ryan from here. I'm waiting for Ryan and Stacy", I said
"Okay", Matteo nods smiling.
We sit in silence for a while. The twins saw us when we chatted but were back to watching tv. I was scrolling instagram while Matteo was just sitting doing nothing..which is very unusual.
"Okay what is it?", I ask him putting my phone away.
"What?", Matteo asked confused
Even the twins look at us confused.
"You wanna talk about something so say it", I said
"W-What? I don't wanna talk about anything. Why do you think so?", Matteo asked flustered
The twins mute the tv and stare at us.
"You came here and made a 5 minute conversation with me about my plans for the weekend which you never do unless it involves you. Then you just sat next to me for 3 mins without doing anything..like literally staring off at space. If I didn't know better I would have thought my brother is broken. But you were all fine till yesterday so there's something you wanna talk to me about and you don't know how to start so I'm asking you to just say it", I explained smiling
Matteo looked at me with total shock expression. The twins look at me and chuckled.
"Wow Val that's quite smart", Xavier snickers
"She's actually not wrong. What's up with you?", Xander asked Matteo.
Matteo looked at us nervously and then kept opening and closing his mouth.
"Just spit it out", I said
"Okay okay", Matteo said rolling his eyes
The twins snicker and shrug as if saying 'we knew something's up'.
"Is your friend Madison dating anyone?", Matteo asked nervously
I look at him totally surprised. Even the twins were shocked listening to him.
Now it was we three that kept opening and closing our mouths.
"Okay I did not think you were gonna say that", I said slowly
"Me too", Xander said nodding
"Me three", Xavier nods
"Why are you asking?", I ask smirking
"Just like that", Matteo shrugs
"Seriously?! Just like that? That's your cover?", Xander asked in total disappointment.
