Karl's POV~
Opening my eyes; all I saw was a sunrise and butterfly's fluttering around. I looked over seeing Tommy lay there, eyes closed. "Tommy." I shook him awake till his eyes opened. He grumbled as I watched him open his eyes slowly. "It's time to continue our journey!" I stood up picking my bag up.
We both ate some canned beans while riding away. To be honest, it didn't taste that bad. "Karl, do you see that in the distance." I looked up seeing where Tommy pointed to. There was an outline of a castle in the fog.
"Hurry up Tommy, I think that's it." Tommy patted the horses butt with his leg to go faster. I've almost fell many times but grabbed ahold of the saddle. "Karl, you need to wrap your foot around the ends of the saddle!" I heard Tommy yell. I looked down seeing part of the saddle dangling. I put my foot in the hole and sat up straight.
Once I did that I saw we were there already. There were rainbow flags everywhere. "Hey Tommy, look at the amazing pride flags." I saw Tommy look up and smile. "They are beautiful." I agreed and we continued tying up the horse.
"You ready Tommy?" I looked over to the young boy. He was looking up at the big castle, it was even bigger than the first one we were in. "Tom! Let's go now." I laughed slightly after scaring the boy.
As we walked into the entrance, we kept making eye contact with the guards. One of them even helped us get to Eret. "Karl, I think it's behind these doors." I looked over seeing two big double doors. We both pushed the doors open, making a big creaking noise. "Welcome, Tommy and Karl from another dimension." There stood Eret in his big boots, towering over all his guards.
"So, I guess you knew!" I shouted excitedly. "Yeah, all you guys needed to do was find three or more of your friends." I looked at Tommy and we both smile. "I'm guessing you guys don't know how to get back?" Eret said. I nodded waiting for a response. "Well, all you need to do is copy some pages in your book on a new page and then a portal will open up." He laughed and that's when I remembered reading some pages about that.
"Thank you Eret, it was a pleasure meeting you here!" I grabbed my journal and started writing words. After that, I placed the book down while it was still open. Tommy came up besides me and we both watched as the portal was slowly swirling up. "Bye Eret!" I heard Tommy yell before he pulled me in.
