Midna's POV:
I allowed Link- or that monster controlling him to enter his house. I needed him and Zelda to be near each other if this was going to work. I took a deep breath and followed him in. I had to act fast, otherwise I'd risk them both leaving before I could have any effect. I extended my hand, mentally preparing myself, reassuring myself.
This is for the greater good of Hyrule and it's communities.
This is for Link and Zelda.
I closed my eyes and begun. My aim was to extract all the darkness from their beings and take it all upon myself, and I knew that there was no way I would survive. The pain was already immense. I felt the power infiltrating every part of me, and all I could do was hope that Link and Zelda were okay. I felt my knees hit the floor, then my stomach, then my head, but I kept going. I kept going until I couldnt feel anything anymore. I kept going until my body shut down and I couldnt see or hear or taste or feel anything. My final thought was of Link and Zelda, my two best friends, the only friends I'd ever had.
