I woke up feeling nauseous. After emptying my stomach from my last night's dinner, I realised that I was alone all this time. My lips twisted downwards. So much for I will always pull your hair when you puke and when I take you hard from behind. Well, he did the second half last night but he was due for the first half now.

"Leo!" I whined from our bathroom and threw up all over the toilet bowl again.

I got no response.

"LEONAR—Glurrgh!"

If not him, at least somebody was wishing me 'good morning and hey, just a reminder that I'm here too, mommie dearest!' in the most pleasant way possible. By the time I was done spewing, I was tired. Somehow, I managed myself to freshen up, wear the nearest clothing available to me and walk out of our bedroom.

"Leonardoooooo." I whined loudly and stomped my foot, pouting childishly after I searched for him in the entire floor. "Leonardoooooooo."

"How sweet of you to create such a petty tantrum on a Monday morning." Louisa said, after she magically appeared beside me with a bowl of fruits. "Grapes?" She offered.

I sniffed. Great. Nothing new here. I cry every morning, afternoon, evening and night. "I don't want grapes."

"Okay. Join us for breakfast, will you?"

"I don't want breakfast!" I cried. "L-Leonardo..."

She blinked. "I see my grandchild is creating a fuss in you. That's just bad and it's only the beginning."

I kept crying. "Where is he?!"

"And that's my cue to leave." She clicked her tongue and walked away.

Don't I have the best soon-to-be actual grandma around in my life? She supports me really well. Note my sarcasm.

"Leonardo..." I cried loudly as I searched for him in the entire mansion and finally gave up in the gym. I sat on the treadmill and sobbed to myself. He left me alone without saying where he went. Why did he leave me alone? He never leaves me alone unless he says so.

"Er, miss Jones?" My vision blurred as I blinked rapidly and saw Stefan standing in front of me. I barely see anybody I know. The mansion usually stays empty these days. It's just me, women who live on the other wing, John and his gardner boyfriend, a couple of guards outside and Papa, who is out of city for God knows what reason.

"H-Hello,"

"First, I must say, congratulations."

"Thank you." I mumbled in Italian and wiped my face.

"And about boss..."

"Not a single word about that idiot! I don't care about him anymore! I hate him!"

A muscle on his face twitched. "Umm... actually I was about to tell you where—"

I shushed him and started crying again. Blame my hormones. "I don't want to know where he has gone because I know where he has gone. I'm not stupid, you know? Just pregnant."

"Oh, well, um, I... Then, it's best if you head back and have breakfast. The gym is going to be occupied very soon and we wouldn't want you to get hurt in between."

"No!" I cried. "I don't want breakfast. I want Leo so you better take me to him!"

His face paled visibly. "M-Me? I must apologise, miss Jones. Boss left very early this morning and in hurry too. You wouldn't want to interrupt his work, do you?"

"As a matter of fact, I very much do now! Get Antonio and let's hit the road."

"It's raining heavily outside, miss Jones." As if the weather heard itself call out its name, a loud thunder rumbled in the sky. "It wouldn't be safe for you to travel."
