Terminus. Sanctuary for all. Community for all. Those who arrive survive

We passed the sign with a map on it pointing towards the 'sanctuary'. "Do you think it's for real?" I asked Rick. We were the only ones awake, keeping watch while Michonne and Carl slept.

Rick shrugged, "I don't know. I hope so. I don't think we can be out here too long." I nodded and stared into the fire. I had little hope it would be true. but lucky hasn't been on our side lately.

"I think we got about a day's wroth of water left. We're lucky it's cooled off a little bit, but," I was too busy trying to beat Carl at a balance contest I didn't pay much attention to what Rick was saying. I saw him and Michonne turn around when we didn't respond.

"What are you doing?" He asked toting his head at us. "Winning a bet." Carl snarked.

"In your dreams." I responded chuckling a bit. "I'm still on." Carl went to try and get me off my balance, but that just led to him losing his a little bit, wobbling side to side to try and stay on the rail.

"Spoke too soon, wise guy." I smirked at his action. "This might go on a while. Maybe we can speed this up." Rick said walking towards us. Michonne stood back watching in astonishment.

"Yeah, you're right. Shouldn't be fooling around. We should probably- Carl!" As I yelled his name I lost my fitting and stepped off the rail in defeat.

"I win. Pay up." He motioned with his hand. I rolled my eyes and took out two candy bars. He eyed my favorite one. "Is that really the last Big Cat?" Then he reached up and grabbed it, "Oh, come on." I whined jokingly.

"Hey, but you said winner's choice." I threw my head back laughing. "Ok you won, fair and square. Come on let's get going." I threw my arm around Carl's shoulder as we walked down the railroad tracks once again.

Ever since I found Carl and Rick, the only person I've thought about was Dallas. I don't know if I believe he made it out or not. I can't find it in myself to completely believe he's alive or if he's dead.

I wondered if he ever tried to find me, if he ever thought of me at all. I would like to think he did, or does. But I'm not sure anymore.
