Trigger Warning: This imagine contains mentions of abuse and ptsd as a result of abuse.
I wrote this and then realized that this is a prime example of how our cultures have romanticized abusive pasts and such and I'm very sorry if that's how this comes off.
I didn't mean to write that but I had already written over 1200 words by the time I realized that fact.
Please know that if you are in any type of situation like the one that Leigh has gotten away from, you need to get help, whatever that means. Do not settle in your life, and do not let other people control you.

"Just get in the house, Leigh," Blake's voice snaps harshly as I question him about the anger that's been rolling off of him practically since we walked into the restaurant.
I stare at him, confused, with my green eyes wide but he just looks away, refusing to look down at me as he holds the front door open. I swallow, walking under his arm and into the house feeling my nails begin to dig into my arm. I glance down at myself, mumbling that I need to change before waking away from Blake, moving quickly up the stairs, and not stopping as my shoulder hits Noah on his way down them. I don't even look back as Blake yells my name before sighing loudly, Noah repeating the yell.

Noah POV
"Hey- what, Leigh!" I shout after the small dark haired girl as she passes me, echoing Blake's call. I turn back towards my friend, leaping down the stairs a couple at a time before my hands dig into my pockets and I approach him, my eyebrow raised. He throws an arm up in the air and landing it against his forehead in frustration,
"She just- ugh!" He looks at me and I cross my arms now, not sure where this is going, "She didn't do anything. I know that, and you know that. She never would do anything, because she's perfect. But, just, that waiter, dude, he never shut up. He wouldn't stop just staring at her, flirting with her, all of it! Right in front of me! Her dessert was sent to the table, and had the words specifically written in chocolate, "Happy One Year Anniversary," and yet he still didn't stop!" I close my eyes, hearing his jealous tone cause his voice to raise quickly.
She's gonna hear him, and get upset, because she hates when Blake gets jealous. None of us know why, but she just gets... sensitive. But Blake seriously cannot control it. So that's where I come in, "Blake, dude, it's Leigh! What exactly are you thinking that was going to do?"
"It just gets to me, okay?! I just, I love her. But she just, she doesn't want me to say anything. So I sit there while a guy hits on my girlfriend." He shakes his head, glancing up at the stairs, checking that she isn't coming down before beginning to pace. I sigh again,
"Look, dude, I know you don't like it, but-"
"No that's right! I hate it!" He bursts out.
"I get it. I get it dude. But shes your girlfriend. That means more than her being your territory, doesn't it," I ask, hoping his jealously will back down. He keeps pacing, but eyes me for a second before dropping his head,
