"What's going on here?" I asked as I walked back in my apartment. Ashton and Kendall were both drunk as hell, eating popcorn and shouting at The Notebook as it played on the screen. There were bottles everywhere, some empty some full, and popcorn all over the floor.

"Fuck love. It doesn't exist." Ashton yelled and threw a handful of popcorn at the tv as Allie and Noah kissed in the rain.

"Yes it does, you just haven't found it. You missy, you have. Your boyfriends an idiot but he's not that big of an idiot." I said and started picking up the popcorn but gave up once I saw how much there was on the floor. I'll just sweep when they go to bed.

"Fuck Michael. I don't need him, I got myself." She slurred and threw popcorn at me.

"You do need him, he's your soulmate and you know it. I'm not even going to tell you what happened because you won't remember and I'll have to do it all over again in the morning." I said and stole the bowl of popcorn from them so they'd stop throwing it.

"What happened with you? I thought you loved Gracie?" I said to Ashton as he picked up another beer bottle.

"She cheated on me again, I'm done with her." He said loudly.

"It's about fucking time." I muttered and let out a sigh of relief.

"I deserve better than her. And you know what I'm gonna get it." He said and looked over at Kendall.

"Me too." She said and attempted to high five him but they both ended up missing.

"Okay can we go to bed now? It's late and we all have class tomorrow." I said and pulled Kendall up from the couch which caused her to collapse into me.

"I'm not going to class hungover are you kidding? I'm not seeing Michael either. I'm locking every door in this apartment so he can't get in." She slurred as I dragged her down the hall to her room.

"Yeah yeah whatever go to bed." I said and gently tossed her on the bed. She immediately passed out and started snoring the second she hit the mattress.

"You staying here?" I asked Ashton once I went back into the living room. Except he was passed out on the couch already so that answered my question. I turned off the tv and turned the light on so I could see before I started cleaning up. I didn't end up going to bed until like 11 but whatever.

"Brenna." I heard Luke's thick and tired accent whisper and shake me awake.

"What are you doing here Luke?" I asked groggily. My alarm hadn't even gone off yet which meant it was early, plus it was dark out still.

"Can you give me a ride to class today. Usually Ashton's my uber but he's clearly hungover and I'm not sure I trust him." He said softly.

"Yeah just go back to bed." I said with my eyes closed and patted the empty half of my bed for him to lay down in. He collapsed into my mattress and the two of us fell fast asleep until my alarm went off hours later.

He went upstairs to get ready while I showered and got ready for class myself. Last night was the longest night of my life. It's one thing when two of your best friends that are dating break up, but a complete different thing when your other best friend breaks up with his girlfriend too.

I'm just glad Avery was having her fun with hot girl summer-even though it wasn't summer yet-and Zoe and Luke were fine single. Even though I'm pretty sure they like each other. Well actually I'm like 100% sure Luke likes her but Zoe never talks about boys for her, just for us. But I just have a feeling she likes him. Something about them together just felt right to me.

"Ready Hemmo?" I asked as he walked down the stairs of the apartment building.

"Yeah." He said and sluggishly walked into the elevator with me so we could go.

"Are they still sleeping?" He asked.

"They're knocked out. They won't be up for hours." I said and walked out of the elevator doors and out to my car.

"Michael drank all the alcohol we have left." He said with a slight groan.

"That's a lot, are we gonna have to get his stomach pumped?" I asked and gave him a concerned look.

"He'll be fine, he threw most of it up anyway. He was up all night so I just told him to stay home." He said and kicked his feet up on the dashboard.

"You better not break up with Cole, I can't deal with another heartbroken friend." He said a few minutes later.

"I think me and Cole are fine for the time being." I chuckled and drove onto campus grounds and drove to our class.

"I have a feeling that somethings up with you two." He said and sent me a questioning look.

"Me and Cole are fine." I said surely. I wasn't even lying either, were genuinely fine.

"As long as you aren't the one heartbroken I don't even care." He said and got out of the car and grabbed his stuff.

"The fact that it's for your sake and not mine is just evil and heartless." I said as we walked towards the building our class was in.

"If I was in a relationship you'd be saying the exact same thing." He said and pushed me.
