It was eerily quiet. The moon was high upon the deep black night sky. Okamatsu was still awake, and so did the soldiers. Of course they have to as they must keep track of the game. As the clock hit midnight, signalling the second day of the Program, Okamatsu did the usual announcement on his microphone, which can be heard throughout the island through speakers. "Sorry to interrupt your sleep but its time for our usual report! Congratrulations for making it to day two! Now, here are your classmates who have fallen during 6 PM to 12 AM."

18th Place: Female Student No. 23 - Chizuru Satonako - Shot herself in the temple in sector D=3,
17th Place: Male Student No. 12 - Satoru Kagawa - Poisoned by Jiro Shimeji in sector E=4,
16th Place: Male Student No. 9 - Jiro Shimeji - Torso ruptured and torn apart by Hideaki Kamakura in sector E=4,
15th Place: Male Student No. 2 - Hideaki Kamakura - Blood loss, eventually shot by an arrow in the head by Takumi Kusashima in sector E=4 and,
14th Place: Male Student No. 3 - Katsushi Tosaku - Shot by an arrow in the stomach by Takumi Kusashima; eventually fell down by a cliff, having his skull cracked.
