Rosetta's POV:

"Are they here yet?"
"Do you know when there arriving?"
"I wonder how they'll arrive"
"What do you think of those schools?"

This is all I here as I make my way to the Great hall for breakfast.

It is the 1st of December which means Christmas is fast approaching but it also means the students from the two other schools, along with there headmasters, will arrive today; and it's all that I can here as I walk down the corridors.

"Morning"
"Reg" I nod at him as I take my seat at the Gryffindor table opposite him
"Excited?" He questions
"Not at all" he snorts
"well if your not and I'm not bothered, it happens to be Saturday and a Hogsmead day at that so shall we go and get our formal wear for the ball?"
"Yeah ok, why not?" I nod
"I'll help you pick out a drop dead gorgeous dress that will have Potter on his knees begging you to be his girl and you can help me find a suit that will knock Kayla's socks off" I laugh
"Your ridiculous, but you've got a deal" I shake his hand
"Good morning, did I just hear that you two are going to get your dress and dress robes for the ball today?" Rem appears next to me
"Yes we are, you wanna come with?" Reg asks
"Ew don't speak with your mouth full" I groan and Reg rolls his eyes as Rem chuckles
"Yeah I'd love to go with you two"
"Trying to knock Sirius off his feet huh" I raise my eyebrows in a teasing manner causing Rem to become a blushing mess
"Shut up" he playfully pushes me "besides I'm not sure Sirius wants to go" he adds as an afterthought.
"Yeah please do, Sirius is my brother and I really don't want to hear this" Reg complains

I see Kayla making her way over to us
"Hi do you want to come with us to get our formal wear for the ball?" I quickly ask her
"No it's ok, I'm making mine, you know how I love to design and make my clothes; it's very calming and then it'll be one of a kind"
"Fair enough"

Time skip

"What about this one?"
"No no no and one more no" Remus complains "hunny you know nothing about fashion, Reg we're going in"
"Wha-" but before I can ask what he means both Remus and Regulus get to their feet and start searching through dresses after dresses
"No no, ew no, definitely not, hmmm not pretty enough"
"Nope, never, ew" both complain as they search through the dresses
"Right try this, this.." Rem starts passing me dress after dress
"Oh and this" Reg adds another to the pile
"I don't know about this g...."
"Go" Remus points to the changing room

I try dress after dress and none of them seem to cut it with the guys, but the next one I try is a red dress with some lace at the top, it's shorter in the front and longer in the back. I walk out in the dress and face my two best friends
"Well" I hold my hands out to the side
"You look gorgeous" Rem exclaims
"That's the dress" Reg nods his head "face the mirror" he demands, I turn towards the floor length mirror.

It is a beautiful dress but I don't think I'm pretty enough,
"Stop judging yourself missy" I turn to see Reg pointing a finger at me "I know that look, now go change" I go back into the dressing room and then come out in my normal clothes holding the dress, but Reg comes over and takes the dress out of my arms
"Right now come help us pick out our suits"
They try many suits and finally they both find ones there happy with and they both look great.

I look up around the shop as I wait and I see James Potter with Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew, James had come out of one of the dressing rooms behind me and he looks dashing, I accidentally catch his eye and he smirks so I quickly turn away to see the knowing looks I'm getting from my friends so I get up and grab them both so we can go pay
"Shut up" I whisper in both there ears, one after the other

Remus pays for his first and then Reg starts paying for his suit and my dress
"What are you doing?" I grab his arm
"It's my parents money so who cares" he turns to the woman behind the counter and says "actually could you add in those black heels" he points at a pair of beautiful, black, strappy heels that I had been looking at earlier

We exit the shop side by side by side
"Reg you didn't have to"
"I know"
"I can pay you back"
"It's not a problem Ro"
"Reg"
"Hey I wouldn't have payed if I thought it'd be a problem okay? so it's fine"
"Aww" I pull him into a hug "thanks"
"No problem now let's go before my brother comes out and then I have to speak to him" I roll my eyes
"Alright"

When we make it back to Hogwarts, the new arrivals are all anyone is talking about and at dinner the arrivals from Beauxbatons sat at the Ravenclaw table whilst those from Durmstrang sat at the Slytherin table. Dumbledore makes a big speech welcoming them to Hogwarts, the hall looked extravagant but it was also claustrophobic so when I could finally leave, I bolted out of there.

This months going to be interesting that's for sure.
