70 - trip from hell

Rosetta's POV:

16th May

Hogsmeade weekend where most of us leave the castle and hangout with friends or go on dates or just have fun shopping; but I don't want to go today, I have a really bad feeling somethings going to happen and I'm not sure whether to ignore it or not. Though I'm not given long to decide.

"Get up, get up, get up" Kayla bounces on my bed as she chants
"Kayla go away" I mumble as I pull my other cushion over my head but it is quickly yanked off me "ugh" I groan as she pulls on my arms forcing me into a sitting position
"We need to go get breakfast and then off to Hogsmeade we go lazy butt" she narrates.
I reluctantly get up and grab my clothes heading to the bathroom to get changed, five seconds, no joke five seconds, after I'd entered the bathroom I hear

Knock knock

"Are you ready yet?" Kayla shouts through the door
"If I was ready I'd be out by now but evidently I'm not" I snap losing my patience, I quickly change and leave the room seeing Kayla beckoning me from where she's standing at the door, I mutter incoherent insults as I pass her; the common room is empty by the time we get down there so we decide to head straight for the great hall; well she decided and I was just dragged along.

"Morning ladies" Reg winks at us both but I merely roll my eyes as Kayla blushes and giggles
"Morning Reggie" she sits beside him and he wraps an arm around her shoulders
"What's up with you?" I quickly realise he's moved his attention to me and I merely shake my head, so he turns his attention elsewhere
"She's just moody cos I made her get up" Kayla explains
"Ah" is the response she gets
"Morning grumpy" James sits next to me, I wasn't aware he wasn't here before, oops
"Where've you four been?" Reg asks the marauders
"We were sat with Lily for a bit" Rem explains, Reg nods but doesn't say anything in response
"So what's your plans for today Regulus?" Sirius asks his brother, it's still somewhat strange seeing him get along with his younger brother
"Taking Kayla out on a date, I promised her" Reg chuckles as Kayla lays her head on his shoulder "what about you?"
"Hanging with the boys and probably Rose if we can force her to come" Sirius turns to me and I glare at him but he just rolls his eyes and turns back to Reg continuing there conversation as I sit playing with my food.

Timeskip

Well surprise surprise the boys managed to drag me out of the castle despite the fact I didn't want to come; I still have a really bad feeling about this.

We arrive in Hogsmeade and we all head towards Honeydukes wanting to stock up on the sweet treats. My nerves start to build up causing the wind to pick up a little around me due to my discomfort and lack of control on my powers.

Once we enter Honeydukes I pick up a couple chocolate frogs and some jelly slugs before paying and leaving to wait outside for the boys.

"Hey Etta" I look up spotting Lily with Marlene of course
"Hi"
"Are you here alone?" She asks looking around
"Oh, no, James, Sirius, Peter and Remus are in there but there taking ages" i point to Honeydukes behind me
"Oh can't say I'm surprised, well have fun" she goes to leave but we here a few cracks in the distance like someone or a few someone's just apparated here

Screams echo from up ahead, torturous screams, and I see some people in cloaks the same ones I saw when I came here alone and the same ones I saw then.

I hear the door to Honeydukes open and feel an arm rest on my shoulder, James. He's clearly not noticed what's going on down the street.

The cloaks come closer and I go to back away but the boys draw there wands followed by my sister and Marlene, I tug on James, the bad feeling in my stomach getting stronger.

I grab my wand.

Spells are fired.

Shouts are heard.

I stay back casting spells here and there.

"Crucio" I hear the unforgivable curse being shouted and I see who they've aimed it at and on instinct I shove James out of the way.

The pain is unbearable. Worse than any physical pain you could ever feel. My skin feels like it's being scratched up and torn at repeatedly with a knife.

My hands touch the floor as I writhe in pain.

The ground shakes along with my body as I lose control.

I faintly hear someone say
"Grab her" and I'm tugged off the floor and dragged a bit away as I still hear spells being fired

"Rose!" I hear my friends shout before everything goes silent.

I manage to build up enough strength to open my eyes and I quickly realise we had apparated into a dark melancholy manor of sorts.

It's somewhat recognisable but I'm not sure why, but I know I won't be able to figure that out now as my body goes limp and everything once again goes black.
