58 - First date

Rosetta's POV:

12th Jan

"Hey Ro" I turn to see it is Rem who's jogging to catch up with me
"Hey what's up?" He rubs his neck nervously "Rem?" I question
"I was just speaking with James and we had a great idea" I nod for him to continue "you and James should double date with me and Sirius tomorrow" I stop in my tracks
"Huh?" I stutter
"It'll be fun?" He says but it comes out more like a question
"Errrm yeah sure why not" I decide
"You don't have to" he quickly amends
"No it's fine, it could be fun I suppose"
"Cool I'll let Sirius know" I nod as he leaves

This'll be an interesting first date.

Saturday 13th Jan

I am so nervous, I've been looking at outfits for an hour, no joke an hour, I had no idea I'd be so worried about what I'd wear. I eventually decide on a black crop top, a short red skirt and tights. Finally I magically curl my hair and leave the dorm, carefully descending the stairs due to the fact that I'm wearing heels to try to make me taller.

I see James waiting near the portrait and I stop for a short second, take a deep breathe to gather my courage and then I finally head over trying to come across as confident.

"Hi" I announce my presence already failing in sounding confident, he turns and his mouth falls open "it's too much isn't it?" I ask on instinct
"No you look perfect" I blush fiercely
"we should go" I walk past him carefully so I can exit the common room and within a few seconds I hear him following me out.
"Do you know where we're going?" He asks, I can almost hear the smirk in his voice, I turn embarrassed
"No" he takes my hand and leads me through the school till we get to a blank wall, I watch him pace in front of it, what's he doing? But then a door appears and he turns to me as if this is a normal occurrence
"Shall we?" He holds his hand out like a gentleman and we both enter, as we do it seems we are in a field
"What?" I ask confused before I see Sirius and Remus sat on a picnic blanket surrounded by delicious looking food and snacks
"It's the room of requirements the room can become anything you think about"
"Fascinating" I look around the field "we're in a room in Hogwarts but we're outside" I smile widely "how did you guys find this place?"
"We were trying to hide from Filch and the room just appeared and eventually Remus discovered how it appeared" James explains as he walks past me.

Me and Potter sit with Sirius and Remus, it's a bit awkward right now so I try to break the silence
"What did you two do for your first date?" Remus blushes
"We went to the three broomsticks and then we took a romantic stroll around Hogsmead" i grin
"That's so cute, you two are adorable"

After a while we start playing 20 questions
"Rose, hmmmm, what's your favourite colour?"
"Really just that?" I ask Sirius, he shrugs "hmmm probably green, forest green" he nods
"I'll keep a note of that" James winks at me
"James how did you and my sister become so close this year?" I ask
"Why? Jealous?" He smirks
"Just answer the question" I roll my eyes whilst playfully hitting him on the arm
"We share a dorm so I suppose we realised we had to try to get along and at least be civil though I think the main reason really is she said I grew up over the summer so she could tolerate me better" I nod
"Remus, how long have you had a crush on Sirius?" I open my mouth shocked at the personal question that James fires at Rem but surprisingly he doesn't hesitate embarrassed
"Since our third year" I smile awww how cute
"Aww baby" Sirius kisses him on the cheek, I look at James, could me and him have what Sirius and Remus have, like ever.

"James how long have you really had a crush on Rose" i eye James curiously
"Since I first met her" he says sincerely, I try to hide my face embarrassed but he pulls my hands away from my face and wraps an arm around my waist and I lay my head on his shoulder. "Rose do you only have one sibling, just Lily? Do you have any other siblings?" I separate myself from James as I awkwardly eye Remus unsure of what to say "did I say something wrong?" James asks watching me worriedly
"You don't have to Ro" Remus smiles at me sympathetically
"No Lily's not my only sibling" I take a deep breathe "I have an older sister called Petunia, she hates me and Lils and, errrm what we are" he nods
"Okay so who are you aski-" I sigh and decide to tell him about my other sibling well I don't tell him a lot but it's a start
"And I had a twin brother, have a twin brother" James turns to me shocked "he was kidnapped when we were kids"
"I am so sorry, I shouldn't have brought it up"
"You didn't know, besides I'll see him again" I say definitely, he frowns
"Errrm not to be insensitive or anything but how do you know?" Sirius asks
"I just do" what could I have said, I can speak to him through our twin connection whilst I'm asleep, I would have felt it if he died, they'd probably think I was crazy I mean I'm not a hundred percent sure Reg and Rem don't think I'm crazy.

We continue asking questions back and forth for a while till we all become quite tired so we head back towards our common room.

"Goodnight" I say to all three but James takes my hand pulling me towards him, I push my hair behind my ear embarrassed about the close proximity
"Goodnight beautiful" he leans in and captures my lips, our first real kiss is sweet and gentle, everything I could have ever imagined and when I'm finally in bed it replays in my head until I fall asleep.

That date was amazing, I wasn't stressed or scared, I just enjoyed it,maybe we can make this work.
