110 - Wedding Bells

Remus' POV:

I'm scared, I'm really scared, what about if something goes wrong or death eaters attack. Should we even be getting married with everything going on.
I pace the flat and continue to do so until there's a knock on my door and outside is my mum and my two best friends
"Come in"
I gesture them to come in
"Are you okay?" Rose asks straight away, I should have known she'd pick up on my nervousness before anyone else
"I'm nervous, like really nervous" I stutter slightly
"Look you love Sirius right?"
"Of course" i state firmly
"Then there's nothing else to it, now get your bum in there and go change" she demands
"Okay" i head into my bedroom and start getting changed into my wedding suit.
Before I exit the room I look at my reflection and satisfied with my appearance I head into the living room.
"Right we're going to get changed stay here and stay calm sweetheart, you look so handsome" my mum fills up sniffling slightly.
"I'll take the bathroom, Rose you take the bedroom and then when one of us is done you can have that room Rachel" Reg says
"Okay" mum nods

After a few minutes Reg leaves the bathroom allowing my mum to go and get changed. I breath in deeply trying to remain calm,
"Right I'm done" Rose appears as someone floos into the apartment
"Sorry I'm late" Kayla arrives already wearing her dress "you look amazing Remus, let's get you married"
"Done" Mum enters the room
"You look great mum"
"Aw don't make me cry that'll be the third time I've cried today" she sniffles, I give her a hug before we leave the apartment apparating outside of the Potter household, I gulp nervously.

"Hey Moony you look great" Prongs greets us at the door along with Wormtail "are you ready to get married?"
"I'm nervous" I admit
"I'll let you in on a secret, Sirius was a mess this morning he was scared to death you wouldn't turn up or you'd realise you didn't want to marry a Black" I frown
"That's ridiculous" I shake my head not believing it
"That's what I said" Prongs throws his hands in the air exasperated "so do you want to do this?" He asks
"Yes, lets get me married" i cheer along with my wedding party

Rosetta's POV:

James goes first with Kayla and Peter, Kayla situated between the two boys.
Next is me and Reg
"Shall we" he offers me his arm and I grin taking it.

The garden is breathtaking with the beautiful arch at the makeshift alter and the isle is covered in red rose petals.

We arrive at the front and I stand at the side Remus will be stood on whilst Reg joins the others on Sirius' side. Sirius does look really nervous, he looks up and meets my eyes so I wink and mouth 'smile' he rolls his eyes but smiles nonetheless. We look up to see Remus entering holding his mums hand, Sirius stares at his future husband.

They meet each other at the alter and Remus' mum kisses his head
"Congratulations" she whispers to them and then sits next to Euphemia at the front

"We are here today to bring these two special people together, Sirius Black and Remus Lupin" I grin excitedly

The first half of the service goes past so quickly, like a blur.
"Sirius you may recite your vows to Remus"
"Remus as you know I grew up in a family without love and I always said I'd be open and just be myself regardless of my messed up family but I didn't realise I was lying to myself, because I have always felt something more for you and instead of admitting it I hid it and started dating like half the female population trying to feel something but what I was looking for was already in front of me and I'd like to apologise now for not realising that sooner. I will spend the rest of my life showing you that you are the only one for me. I love you."

"Remus you may recite your vows to Sirius"
"I have always liked you, your flirty nature, your sense of humour, your annoying good looks. I always believed that I wasn't good enough and I never thought we would ever actually have a chance never mind actually getting married. This is my dream come true. You are my future there's nothing else to it. I love you."

"Remus and Sirius have recited there vows in front of there friends and families, do we have the rings?" I hand Remus the ring. He slips it onto Sirius' finger and then Sirius does the same taking Remus' hand and placing the ring on his finger. "I now pronounce you married, you may kiss" the couple share a romantic kiss and then Sirius cheers, loudly.

Remus turns to me to show me the ring, it's a simple silver ring but on the inside it says 'my one and only'
"So cute" I squeak
The couple have some pictures taken under the arch as we all go ahead into the ballroom where there are tables of food, and other tables at the front and a couple small round tables around the room, still allowing room for a dance floor. I take my seat at the front next to James
"That service was beautiful" i gush
"It was" James nods
"They we're so cute" Kayla takes the seat next to Reg who is sat to the left of Sirius' chair. The guests sit down as Euphemia introduces the married couple for the first time
"Welcome Sirius and Remus Black" the two walk in and join us
"Mr Black" I whisper to him as the music starts
"I know, I am!" He whispers excitedly
"Congrats Moony" James offers his hand to the boy and they shake hands
"Thanks"

"Speech, speech" Reg cheers and I shake my head, the room falls silent as Euphemia turns the music off
"I want to thank you all for coming to celebrate with us and Remus my new husband I love you so much and I can't wait to start our lives as a married couple" Sirius sits down and I sigh a sigh of relief as Reg hadn't done anything stu-
"Excuse me!" Oh no "hi I'm the best man, Sirius' younger brother and one of Remus' best friends, I have had the privilege of seeing these two grow as a couple and honestly you two are completely perfect for each other, you are soulmates. I just hope you'll have the best time together as a married couple." We all smile glad he's not saying anything stupid "oh and Remus you said you were also attracted to his good looks"
"So" Remus asks cringing at whatever he's going to say
"Well I can tell you now he's not always been a looker" he says as he holds up an embarrassing photo of Sirius as a kid just wearing tights with his hair up in a ridiculous fashion. Sirius claps his hand to his face as his cheeks redden. Everyone laughs as the music turns back on
"Why?" Sirius sighs
"I'm your brother I'm supposed to embarrass you, it's my job" Reg crosses his arms as if to say my work here is done.

Rem pulls Sirius up and the two go to the dance floor to have there first dance.
"Really Reg?" I lean over so as to not let anyone else hear
"I stand by what I said" I roll my eyes.
"May I have this dance?" James asks and we head to the dance floor along with other couples, I even see Rory with Rosalie. Alice and Frank are dancing and so are Arthur and Molly.
"I'm so happy for them" I sigh as I watch the happy couple
"Me too and one day it'll be our day" i look up to face him
"Don't go there James please" he nods
"It's okay not now but someday" I shake my head as I smile laying my head on his chest as we sway to the music.
