114 - The Married Couple

Rosetta's POV:

I walk down the corridor taking my usual route to the library to find a new book as I finished mine last night.

I head in and walk straight over to my favourite section, the section dedicated to animals, magical creatures.

Read, read, read. I go through them until I find a book on Thestrals which I have not yet read. I pick it up and skim the back of it, I shrug and go over to the desk to borrow it. I then head to the Great hall for lunch and to meet with my friends. When I arrive I only see Remus and Sirius so I join them at the end of the Gryffindor table
"Hi" I announce my presence as I sit opposite them
"Hey future Sister" a new nickname Sirius has taken to calling me as he's said on many occasions when I marry James I'll basically be his sister apparently "what have you got there?"
"A book" I respond holding a 'duh' tone "It's got words in it to help us learn about a topic or let's us escape into a new world, I'm not surprised your unfamiliar with the concept" i sassily reply.
"Haha, my future sis is so funny" he pats me on the head and I shake my head; though I'll admit it is nice to have another brother figure after what happened with Snape, I'm used to people treating me like a younger sister so it's quite natural for me. "So where have you been this morning?" He's just asking for this
"It's called a library, it's where books are kept" I nod slowly and he laughs
"Yeah I don't read, the only reason I know of that place is it's a book worms second home and that includes my husband" he laughs as Remus roll his eyes
"So how's married life treating you?" I ask the two
"Amazing loving it, I do not understand why my parents hated it so much though they weren't in love so eh" he finishes shrugging
"It's great, though he's become more clingy" Remus gestures to Sirius
"Have not!" Sirius argues
"Yes you have"
"Not" Sirius pulls his tongue out
"You've even started hanging around me when I'm reading you usually find that boring and leave" Remus points out
"That doesn't prove anything" he pours pretending to be upset
"Your both adorable" I smile at the two
"Aren't we just?" Sirius agrees as he kisses Remus on the cheek causing said boy to blush profusely.
"Where are the rest of the clan?" Remus asks me
"I don't know I was going to ask you the same thing" I respond
"That's strange"
"Maybe James has got a new person in his life" I roll my eyes and shake my head at Sirius' comment
"The only other person apart from Rose who he loves that much is himself, so if he were with someone else it'd probably be his own reflection" I laugh with Sirius at Remus' statement.

At this exact moment is when James walks over to us just causing us all to fall into a second for of laughter
"What?" He asks confused and we just continue laughing unaware of a few eyes on us. Jame sits next to me "what's so funny?" He questions again increasingly confused.
"It's nothing" I tell him and then I look at Sirius to see he's pretending to brush his hair in a mirror whilst gazing at himself. "Stop" I laugh at him
"Your all crazy" James speaks up as he shakes his head at us.

Finally we calm down, though it takes a while, and decide to eat something,
"I didn't realise how hungry I was" I voice my thought
"Me neither sis"
"You realise I'm not actually your sister right?" I tell him and he quickly covers my mouth and turns to James
"The nerve of some people" he shakes his head as he tries not to laughs "you will be my sister when you marry my brother, which will happen" he declares "you will have a beautiful lacy white dress with a really long train, and you'll hold roses of course...." He continues, making me look at him a little concerned, I turn to James
"He's planning our wedding?" I ask a little nervous "we're not even engaged yet  and Even if we were I'm not sure how I'd feel about him planning it" I whisper
"You and me both" James mirrors my expression
"But i really haven't thought about it that much" Sirius finishes
"Thought about it more than I have" I voice and Sirius shrugs
"It'll be perfect I'll make sure of it" he says as he stands, I look up at him with my mouth open wide feeling speechless
"You realise me and James aren't engaged right?" I ask actually worried about his answer
"Obviously sis but you will be" and he leaves
"I honestly can't tell if that was a big joke or not" I face Remus who is watching Sirius leave "me neither" he tells me and we all watch the eldest Black brother leave.
